After leaving the U.S. in February 2025, my pivot has continued bringing me new adventures, both expected and deeply surprising. A short trip to Malaysia from my home in Thailand led me to one of the most unforgettable places I’ve visited so far: the Batu Caves.

After moving to Thailand in February 2025, I spent one week in Bangkok, then made my way to Chiang Mai. I stayed in a hotel for a month before moving into this newly built Thai traditional home, just one week after it was completed.

For 12 years, Free and For Me shared the latest and greatest in entertainment, food, travel, family, and more. As empty nesting came into play, a new chapter, my pivot, began. In February 2025, a life filled with a mix of fast and slow made its way to Thailand. Portugal is the end goal, but a year or so stop in Chiang Mai, Thailand was slightly unexpected… yet deeply needed.

On December 30, 2023, Our Story Is will present “At the Market” in Woodland Hills, California. “At the Market” provides a FREE farmers market that provides 100% organic and fresh produce, straight from the farm. Our mission is to maintain an integral environment, therefore every booth has a transactional component without any monetary transaction. This allows market goers to pick their own produce and place their own orders.

“At the Market” is an income-inclusive event. Many of the market goers fall into an income threshold where they make too much for assistance, but not enough to get by.
