here lies her home, here lies her first kingdom come ⸻ never mind the fact that this home was no sanctuary for it's tenants but instead a palace erected out of marble walls and desperate heartache, built upon the foundations of resentment and misery from a desolated mother and an overly absent father. but still, it was the only home she had ever known. but home is such an elusive thing, is it not? for as long she had ever remembered, this home of theirs have always been the one thing hae-in runs to without a single doubt etched to her being. whereas her twin sister, haechan would run away from at any given moment. but who could dare to blame her unbeloved twin for having such an affinity? if only they knew what truly lies behind the gilded gates ... after all, home is where everything began. is it not the very place that have transformed love into sheer hatred between the once insperable twin sisters? a constant battlefield where only one could emerge with victory and walk away from the destruction unscathed? and who else can be the victor, if not hae-in? the one who sits the sits at the throne of it all? "welcome back, sister." her voice is nothing but a songbird's mellifluous titter breaking through the eerie silence, whilst she leaned against the staircase balcony. "have you finally come home?" ( have you finally stop running away ) poison lacing honey, and fangs piercing flesh ; head cants to one side as a cruel smile unfurled across your lips at the sight of your sister finally walking through the doors. your gaze is steel pierce set behind the careful art of mascara’d lashes lined to absolute perfection, an unspoken challenge hung in the air as you waited to see to if your better half will make yet another mistake of reacting to you.
