@heirofiron if there was one person addy had loved longer than anyone else ( other than florian ) it had to be hugo stark, the two of them had had each other for so long now it was getting hard to remember a time when she didn’t have him at her side. of course with that also came an awareness of how the other displayed his emotions, and whilst she herself hadn’t been too upset by what had happened at the rally ( other than an overwhelming feeling that she was right ) the starks and rogers’ were family, she wasn’t incredibly close to two of them not to know that

“hey,” she greets gently as the other entered the studio. “you wanna dance, or do you just wanna get coffee,” she signs along almost by second nature now. “if there’s stuff you wanna complain about you know i don’t mind hearing it,”

[ @heirofiron ] tony liked to think that he was a good dad. while it was true that he hadn’t grown up with a father figure to draw from, he had by now at least had plenty of years of experience on just what being a parent meant, more importantly there was no one, part from pep and betty, who knew his kids better than he did. he was grateful that he’d been placed in the same room as at least one of kids. once he’s finished talking to betty he heads over to hugo, letting out a sigh as a hand comes to ruffle his hair like he’s still a kid. 

“well that was stressful, you need anything before i go find the others?” he’s proud of hugo, always is, but it’s times like this where it bubbles up in his throat. “thanks for keeping me grounded by the way,”
