Design notes and rambles under the cut

Orsair

- Leaning into the academia vibes again going kinda traditional but like Bad Magic Mechanics Teacher

- He's not flashy. Warm tone greys are perfectly fine.

- Orsair is a lime blood and his eyes constantly glow. While the Ball is a safe event for all trolls he's not into revealing himself so he wanted the red glasses to cancel out the green glow of his eyes. Hopefully.

- I wanted to slick back his hair because I think it would make him look put together and handsome

- I had to give him gloves at but it goes with the Shop Teacher vibe. Main purpose is to hide his hand prosthetic and claws.

- The chunky boots stay on during the fancy party

Melink

- Personal preference to color his horns but it kinda works with the metallics theme of the ball so he just like added some shine to them.

- He would have had a fancy embroidery design on his vest with silver thread.

- He wanted to be a mad scientist so so bad

- It doesn't look it but his waist would be SINCHED to hell and back

- Small first aid kit on his hip both as a prop as practical because he is there in case a medical emergency happens

- Mandatory full coverage and his want to look sciencey means his shilouette didn't change much

- Melink likes black and white. BUT- Given in universe Kuezal is making all the outfits: he made an executive decision and added the swirly galaxy inner lining to the coat to tie in the astronomy theme

- Was gonna put the Black White Yellow Red colors along his belt for the stages of alchemy but it looked ugly

- Him and Orsair are kinda meant to match in the sense that they are professors who suck ass and also they are dancing together at the ball please know that

Tyimmy

- He has to be there. He's Anrifi's support person.

- Low maintenance and honestly feels bad people keep making him clothes he knows he's big and it's a hassle.

- Was actually surprised when his appreciation for leather jackets was taken into consideration and he will treasure this one forever

- It was hand painted and is (allegedly) sky acturate. The larger size meant Kuezal could actually put his painting skills to use on a decent canvas

- I know I wanted his metallic color to be silver

- Decently nice suit under the jacket gives nice vibes.

- Him, Anrifi, and Hiyett were all supposed to have a Magic Delinquents vibe going on but things happened

- I like to think he had fun. Maybe talked to some girls. Or boys.

Anyone got any tattoo artist trolls willing to do several large pieces on a heretical clown who will not stop looking at them like they are the most ever prettiest pinned butterfly?

The idea of some ally needing medical attention and somehow the Undedraft is the safest or closest option. This could be because of mutation status or criminal record.

It's funny and horrifying because imagine getting fucked up and you wake up and the first thing you see is a clown standing over you. Already a bad sign. but like he's extra off and is actively getting all up in your wounds.

Moral of the story; I think Melink getting slapped while changing bandages is a completely reasonable thing to happen.

It would be a very messy situation.

Not to be unhealthy about my dolls again BUT-

Long post

In the span of 5 hours I have had many Bullet Wound <3< thoughts and it has ranged from

- Melink convincing Orsair into taking anesthesia to help him get to sleep because something important is happening the next day.

- Orsair waking up but being paralyzed. Melink talking to him like some freaky sleep paralysis demon. Implying he did it on purpose ("Ah, this happens sometimes. Usually it's perfectly fine but those who have rather high-" pointed look "-tolerances, can wake up sometimes") and that he does want to hurt Orsair but he won't.

- Orsair feeling incredibly enraged at the vulnerable position he is in but being unable to do anything and eventually knocking back out.

- The one sided thrashing that occurs when Orsair fully wakes up because Melink Will Not hurt him. Didn't hurt him when he was under and won't hurt him in the future. Melink taunting Orsair with that fact. Telling him that nothing happened to him and he's perfectly fine and he can look himself over in the mirror every night for the rest of his life but he will find nothing. He'll feel like something is wrong though. Feel something under his skin that shifts and changes in the wrong ways. But it's nothing.

- The just,,, blatant betrayal of something that may have resembled trust but technically Melink did nothing wrong(?) and Orsair is pissed about it so they don't talk for a very long time till Anrifi has a private chat with the scary clown doctor about like- Being a dick to people for the lols is fine but psychological torture is kinda fucked up?
