“I’m not a lightweight,” he scoffed. Maybe he was, he didn’t drink too often these days. He completely ignored her teasing and made grabby hands for the food. “Gimme, gimme, gimme,” he begged as he got a hold of it. He dug into the bag, pulling out a greasy burger to which he sniffed and sighed like he hadn’t eaten in days. Quickly, he unwrapped it and took a big bite, talking with his mouth full, “You’re heaven sent, I swear. A pure angel.” His head still was pounding and his hangover still looming but at least he had food.
