She had no issues calling her ex best friend a selfish nice guy when his true colours showed when they were younger. "But, my god it's like some people didn't pay attention in class at times when they speak. It's like... did you make it past year 6?" "ʜᴀᴠᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴇᴠᴇʀ ʜᴇᴀʀᴅ ᴏꜰ ᴀ ᴘʏɢᴍʏ ᴛʏʀᴀɴᴛ?" blue didn't take the time to pause for their response before just continuing on with her point, "i never understood people comparing themselves with animals or the whole 'spirit animal'" lifting her hand she made air quotes as it was not a phrase she would use, "thing until i found this bird. just the name alone and i thought 'wow, that's me'." the corner of her lips upturned and added, "plus they're fairly cute... for a tyrant." it maybe have sounded as if she was fishing for a compliment, but blue didn't need one. it was just her stating it as if it were a fact. "ᴀɴʏᴡᴀʏs, to make a long preface longer, what I wanted to say is that you remind me of a tarsier."

"ʜᴀᴠᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʙᴇᴇɴ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴜᴛsᴋɪʀᴛs ʙᴇꜰᴏʀᴇ, ʏᴏᴜ ᴋɴᴏᴡ, ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴛʜɪɴɢ?" there was a moment hesitation before she settled with the word ‘everything’. although blue, who has been surrounded by the death all her life, had no problem openly discussing it. this was more of an attempt to be considerate of her companion. “i heard that people have heard e c h o e s.” she said the word with interest. alluding that she means echoes in the same sense as one who say magic rather than regular echoes found in a mine. “is that true? are they like... voices?" maybe even voices that speak only in latin, she thought.

ᴡʜɪʟᴇ sᴛᴀɴᴅɪɴɢ ᴊᴜsᴛ ᴏᴜᴛsɪᴅᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴀʀᴋᴇᴛ, ʙʟᴜᴇ ɴᴏᴛɪᴄᴇᴅ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ʜᴜᴅᴅʟᴇᴅ ᴛᴏɢᴇᴛʜᴇʀ. their hushed tones suggested a secret gathering of some kind. maybe just locals gossiping. discreetly she tried to see what in the area could have piqued the interest of so many & forced them to discuss in hushed tones. everything looked normal enough. at least normal enough for a town that she had no memory of even entering. then, she crazily thought, maybe they were talking about her. her gaze moved the window of a shop across the way & did a quick once over of herself. definitely not as normal as the town. however, she didn’t think her outfit would cause too much of a stir. a girl rocking fifteen (ish) varying sized hair clips and purple crocheted leggings was not something to gossip about. stopping someone who was passing by, she inquired, “do you know what’s with the peanut gallery over there?” lifting her chin to point at the crowd.
