Mod Applications Are Closed!

We now have six wonderful mods to spread positivity throughout the fandom! Please give us a couple days to re set up the blog and answer our current asks before sending more messages.

Become A Mod!

I already posted this on the important announcement post but I’m going to go a bit more into detail here for those of you who are interested in becoming a mod on ft-positivity.

First, and most importantly, this is a positivity blog. If you have ever sent any form of hate (anon or not) to someone in the past, please don’t apply. If we discover that you send someone anon hate while a member of this blog, you will be kicked from the blog immediately.

Second, you cannot be a reposter. By now, you’ve probably seen multiple posts about why reposting is bad so I’m not going to get too much into the details. Just know that reposting is wrong, and you cannot be a member of the blog if you repost.

Please respect everyone on the blog and other tumblr users, this is a hate-free space.

You must have some kind of editing soft where. If you don’t have one, look around on tumblr, you should be able to find one you can download. But please make sure that you are downloading it legally. Often times, they’ll release a free version that doesn’t have as many features as the paid versions. Those work just fine.

It is preferred that you have some editing experience, but it is not necessary. If you’d like to learn, there are multiple tutorials on tumblr. Plus, basic editing is always fine on the blog. The main point of ft-positivity is to spread happiness, not to make beautiful artwork that takes hours to make.

Also, in order to add people to the blog, I will have to know the e-mail address you use for your blog. I swear I will not give out your e-mail to other users. Only I will see it, and I will forget it seconds after I add you to the blog.

It is also necessary that you have a Skype. We use Skype to let other members know who is taking care of what ask and to discuss important matters about the blog (such as mod names, whether or not we remain anonymous, the theme, the banner, the icon, and more). We will also use the blog to just chat, because it’s important that we know each other a bit and hopefully can become friends!

Important Announcement!!!

Hello everyone! It’s mod Levy aka @jelllal and I have something that I need to let you guys know.

A lot of the asks lately haven’t been answered, and I’m sure those of you who sent them are wondering why. The truth is, they weren’t answered because I thought that other mods were working on them, when it turns out that everyone else left the blog and I’m the only one here now. I apologize for not answering your asks!

Some of your messages have really inspired me to keep the blog running so I’m going to be accepting new mods for the blog! Since I didn’t do much with the theme/banner/icon we’re going to completely redo the blog. There will still be edits on the blog and all the rules stay the same it will just be new people and a new look.

If you would like to be a part of the new ft-positivity, please send me an ask to either here or my main blog (jelllal) including why you would like to be a part of ft-positivity and your editing skills (beginners are always welcome, but you need to have an editing program such as Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI to make the edits).

I’m going to start a Skype group so we can chat about the layout of the blog, discuss who is going to be which mod, and who is going to answer which ask. If I accept your application, please send me your Skype name so I can add you to the chat!

Lately, we have been getting messages as “_____ is the best writer in the whole fandom!” or “____ Is the most amazing writer ever, goodness I wished ____ left some talent for the rest of us!” And if you don’t know us mods are against such ask’s, we want to keep the ask’s from saying one person in the fandom is better than the other.
