honestly, she’s never quite sure how she finds herself here. here, in this case, is adam’s van on the way to the archives once more. this time, she is accompanied only by adam who’s still sporting a black eye from the bonfire. when they arrive, she hops out from the passenger seat and fishes around her purse for the keys to the archives. she had been tempted to just tell him to go tomorrow when it was open to the public, but somehow she found herself saying yes. she pushes the door open and steps inside, flicking the lights on inside the building. “so where did you wanna start?” it’s the first thing they’ve said since they left the guesthouse. / @griffinfm
kendra was fully prepared to go back to her routine, expecting for gamer club to be at the same time as before. as she was walking towards the classroom where the meetings were held she saw about everyone walking out by then. she walked a bit closer by the doorway to take a peak of what she had missed until she bumped into adam. “shit, sorry.” there’s an awkward laugh after since the two haven’t talked in almost a year. “how have you been?” she tries to make some small talk. “i heard about you and imogen. congratulations!” she reaches her hand for a fist bump thinking that would be the most appropriate thing to do.

she immediately went to smack his arm lightly as he began to mess with her while they were supposed to be studying. “i’m sure your mom would just love that.” she mocked, remembering how their last encounter didn’t exactly make a great first impression. “you better keep quiet before she comes in here with a pitchfork.”
it had been about almost an hour now since the dance had started, already having spent 20 minutes in the car. she didn’t mind being late as they spent the last few minutes making out. “i think this might be the latest we’ve ever been.” she says as she pulls away for some much needed air. “i’m not complaining one bit. it’s nice to be out anyway.” the selfish side of her wants to say to just ditch altogether, however she knows adam. “i’m pretty sure all your friends are missing you in there. so basically the entire student population.”

heather: there was so much she was holding back from adam the past few days. she didn't have it in herself to fully let him know what had happened. heather felt like she was mostly to blame for how she just wanted to hurt her sister back. it was said out of spite. that exact moment kept replaying in her mind throughout the night finding it hard to even sleep. she decided to visit adam despite the distance she had created not letting him in. she showed up with no warning but she knew he would still have her come in. there was hardly any words exchanged between the two, as she made her way with him to lay down on his bed. her back was to him as she quietly found some solace in his arms. moments passed as her eyes grew tired looking at poster-covered wall for too long. she cleared a throat as she peaked over her shoulder to look at him. "i'm sorry." her voice was soft, almost child-like in the manner she said it.
heather was laying on her stomach as she propped herself up with her elbows on the bed looking up at adam. she was trying to see his reaction, if he even felt anything, with a smirk tugging at the end of her lip. they had both skipped class seeing as he seemed so tense recently so a break seemed like the next best thing for the two. “what are you thinking about, torres?”
