“Ey!” You could tell by the tone of his voice that Tristan was annoyed. Or perhaps he’s just had one too many drinks. If it wasn’t his tone that was telling, maybe it was the extra bit of swagger in his step that might tip people of. Or even the three-quarter empty bottle of liquor in his hand. “I keep noticing you around here, kid. And I can’t help to think that you got no fucking business being here.” He was slurring just a little, his words soft around the edges as he spoke them, but too loud for how late at night it was. He approached the stranger with sure steps with bared teeth and his arms stretched out as if to say come at me. He was even more erratic now than he usually was. How very dangerous. “Ain’t that right?”, he pushed again when the kid didn’t reply fast enough.
