with each step the pair takes, nisa starts to resent blair’s friends a little bit more. how the fuck did getting blair home safe become my burden? nisa thinks to herself; like it wasn’t a burden she willingly took on when she approached blair at wild rover. as they approach blair’s house, there’s a part of nisa that wants to dump blair on her front porch with nothing but a breezy ‘don’t drown in your own vomit.’ but nisa’s been on the receiving end of that treatment a few too many times; waking up on her bathroom floor with a lonely ache in her chest even when she can’t remember anything else from the night before. and as much as she hates herself for it, she doesn’t want blair to feel that way tomorrow morning. so instead, nisa ends up feeling remarkably out of place in the dark entryway of blair’s house. “alright, where’s your room?”
