in the rare event he wasn't by orryn's side, theodoric could usually be found in the gardens - the one place within the red keep that awarded him some comfort. but unlike most days where he would sit and enjoy the flowers, dory had come with a mission - gathering flowers to turn into paints. he was in the midst of plucking a rose from it's stem when ceryse approached. "promise you won't tell? i'm not sure how kindly this will be looked on," he responded with a small laugh. surely he wouldn't find himself in trouble for something so minor ... but he thought it best to be safe.
