it was late, probably way too late for sebastian to still be without a place to sleep for the night, but he wasn’t concerned. he couldn’t bring himself to feel much of anything, not with the fresh round of drugs circulating through his system. this was when seb felt he was in his prime - nothing could get to him when he was like this, nothing hurt him when he was high. he was one of the last people to clear out from the party, always staying as long as he could at these things in hopes that someone would offer him a place to sleep, or he’d get lucky with someone and wouldn’t have to worry about that. tonight was one of his few unlucky nights, but he knew exactly where he was going to go from here. he started out walking in the direction of the house he knew all too well, but then felt like he had so much pent up energy that he began jogging instead - all the while humming loudly to himself. if it weren’t the middle of the night, he’d most likely be making quite the scene. once he reached his destination, finding the spare key was easy. cory had told him where it was just in case, and although he had yet to use it, preferring to ask her first if he could sleep on her couch, he had no qualms about using it freely now. once he had let himself in, he tossed the key haphazardly behind him, looking around the dark house. there was a single light on, coming from the kitchen, and sebastian followed it, grinning to himself. “ cordelia! ” he greeted once he saw it was his friend, his grin widening. “ i’m going to stay here tonight. ” sebastian didn’t even give her an option, just said it as though it were a well known fact, bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet impatiently.
