nikolai’s connection with hannah extends back years. as such, so does his connection with jaime. neither are positive right now, but jaime’s has always been less positive. especially with how things ended with hannah, their screaming fight outside of the club, it’s been quite clear to nikolai that he’s never done anything to win any points with her twin brother. he wanted to once, of course, but now it’s fruitless. he’s broken hannah’s heart all over again, without even trying too hard.
he’s sure jaime heard all about their latest argument at the luncheon the other day, the one that ended nearly in tears.
but naturally, it doesn’t take him more than a few minutes to bump right into jaime, and with a few drinks in him already, he’s raring to be messed with. “don’t even say it madison,” he says, stepping to the side. “i don’t wanna hear a fucking word from you.” he doesn’t need anyone to tell him how much he’s screwed up.
