Disneyworld. Pt.1 || Lenolia

             “Lila. Hey baby girl, wake up..” Emilia was quiet, super quiet when it came to waking up the small toddler when she was asleep. But today was the day that they were going to get to go to Disney and there was no way that she was going to let the small girl sleep the day away. When she finally woke up, the brunette smiled. “Go wake up Lenox. He still hasn’t gotten up yet. I’ll go make breakfast.” And with that, small feet were pattering against the wood flooring of the suite that they had gotten. It was a  two bedroom suite, along with a living room and full size kitchen. The female was sure it cost a pretty penny, but she wasn’t going to say anything about him on that, scared that he might get upset that she was even asking about the amount of money put into their vacation. Getting out the bacon and the eggs, Em danced along to the music, humming without even really noticing.

𝙊𝙋𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙄𝘼 𝙄𝙎 𝙎𝙄𝙏𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘼𝙏 the bar, still clad in the lingerie from her last performance as she sips on a dirty martini. the club closed around twenty minutes ago and most of the girls had already gone home. the only people that seem to remain were the cleaners who were making sure everything would be spotless by tomorrow night, and the bartender who was tidying up his station. the blonde likes to linger after her shift, reveling in the afterglow of being on stage. the room still felt electric and if she closes her eyes long enough, she could feel the warmth of the spotlight on her skin and the applause booming in her ears. she was the headliner now, her name written on the marquee in big glittery letters. people all around the country came to see her, and while this wasn’t how she pictured becoming a star when she was dancing in her childhood bedroom with a hairbrush as a microphone, she loves it. it was a role she wouldn’t let anyone take from her, and god help the ones who would be brave enough to try. ophelia finishes the rest of her drink and places the empty glass on the bar. she's just about to ask for another when she spots one of the new dancers walk by, her hand quickly waving her over. ❝hey! come sit! ❞ she smiles brightly, moving over a bit so she could get on the stool next to her. the femme remembers what is was like being the new girl - how she wish she would of had someone to lean on when she was still learning the ropes. it's why she doesn't hesitate to introduce herself to the brunette. ❝i don’t think we’ve met before. i’m ophelia, but my friends call me tink.❞ a nickname short for tinkerbell. ❝you’re lila, right? ❞ she asks before gesturing towards the bartender. ❝alex here makes the best drinks. what do you like? ❞

Damien, obviously drunk for the first time in quite a while now that school was over with, was scrolling through his contacts on his phone when his eyes landed on Lila’s name. It had been a while since the break up and he hadn’t heard from her in such a long time despite him trying to reach out every now and then and in his drunken state he’d decided to try one last time to get her to talk to him. Pressing her name, the phone started to dial and with each ring his heart sank a little more until it completely dropped at the sound of the automated message for her voicemail. He waited for the beep before he spoke, his words slurred ever so slightly.

“Hey, it’s uh..well you know who it is. I was just thinking about you....I wish you would just answer your phone so I know that you’re okay. Don’t tell him I said this but I even think Dominic is worried about you.”

He paused before taking a deep breath, Damien closing his eyes as he spoke again.

“I didn’t know I would miss you this much. I know things got rocky in the end and that fight we had was...horrible but I just wanted a better life for us. All we were doing was wasting away our days and after being sober for a while I was starting to realize my family was right. Not about you but about wanting more for myself, more for us, and getting back on track. I was tired of being angry at the world Li. I needed something better...we needed something better. But I want you to know that I’ll-”

The voicemail cut off as he had gone over his time, the voice on the other end saying the message was sent. With a sigh as the phone hung up Damien finished his last thought to no one but the empty room. 

“I’ll always love you and I want you to come home.”
