from that one pjo meme that i couldn't seem to find for some strange reason 🙃

            ❝Hmmmm... not sure if I gotta.❞ She shrugs at the unsolicited advice, ❝I mean, everything is weird about me and it's not often people notice it. For better or worse.❞

             She cocks her head to the side, inspecting the other rather studiously. It is as though Rue was some interesting specimen in a terrarium she happened across, only someone with their own brand of strangeness would say something like that. Or likely, the other senses something strange within her.

           And then she smiles, in a way a wolf might greet another by baring its teeth, ❝What do you find weird about me?❞

ariadne quickly hopped out of her car, keys, and bags in hand. on a beautiful friday night, she would’ve been closing up the shop and heading to the nightclub. she dreams of herself lounging around in her booth because she rather not deal with people for the night. most nights working as a fortune teller can do wonders for the soul. and it usually left her soul drained. either way, an emergency text from rue changed her plans for the night. she has no idea what landmine she can be stepping in right now. hopefully, some food and drinks will call rue to spill her guts to her. a girl can dream, right? she strolls over to rue’s place and rings the doorbell. leaning against the wall, she speaks in a teasing tone, “open up, rue! i come barring gifts.” once the door is open, she cocks a brow at rue. “damn, what happened to you, rue? you look a hot mess and hope this bottle of wine will fix it.” she steps inside the house and instantly heads toward her living room. “are we spilling secrets first or eating and drinking?”
