DINGBAT GROUP

Siren - it’s comeback time! after being on hiatus for over a year, siren members are beginning to think the worst, especially as they reach their seventh anniversary. but for now, dingbat group are finally paying them some attention and is sending them off between music show recordings to film a cf for hi mart!

LOVECRAFT - lovecraft are in the studio this week, recording the tracks for their upcoming mini-album. the theme seems to be ... halloween, despite the fact that it’s only going to be february when the album is released. they’ve also been scheduled to make an appearance on get it beauty to share their beauty routines, one sponsored item at a time.

MYSTERY - time is ticking, and mystery have been thrown back into dingbat group’s dungeon, with one objective and one objective only. they’ve got songs to write and produce if they want to have a comeback within the next couple of months. their workload is high as ever.

Pyro - after their scandal, pyro are still, admittedly, recovering, but it’s nothing some good promotions and media play can’t fix! the boys are going to be volunteering at a dog shelter to try and repair their image, and can expect lots of photos to be “leaked”.

MELODY - the girls’ first comeback is coming up! members of siren and mystery may notice the special attention dingbat group is paying to their new moneymakers, but that’s just the industry, right? melody have their first official magazine photoshoot this week, with star1 magazine!

neXus - january evaluations. it’s a new year, and hopefully the neXus boys have been taking any new year’s resolutions to improve their performance seriously. rumors are flying around, and apparently dingbat group are looking to seriously lighten their trainee load. 

MOBIUS ENTERTAINMENT

ORION - it’s no secret that orion are being neglected. fans and members alike have been left wondering what exactly is happening. they’re mostly being encouraged to go down their own personal routes, but mobius has gotten them one gig! they’re being sent to guest judge on a survival show of some lesser known company, where they’ll be encouraged to share their own underdog story. 

STRINGS - after their successful japanese debut, strings have been granted some timeoff, though they can’t completely relax. their short holiday to jeju island is being filmed, to be released for fans to buy and watch. it’s a sharp contrast to what strings are used to, but it seems they’re finally being treated more as idols and less of a band. 

SOLAR - radiance and gleam have been tasked with keeping solar’s youtube channel stocked with content while eclipse prepare themselves for debut. fans are already very aware of who the upcoming girls are thanks to the youtube channel, and following gleam’s success, the hype is bigger than ever before. eclipse are taking the photos for their debut teasers and photobook this week, as well as filming their music video for girl front.

NEO - neo:blue are being kept suspiciously out of the public eye. many fans are speculating that this is because they’re working on something big, and they’d be right. a surprise comeback, with one singular teaser will drop twenty-four hours before the music video. in the meantime, the boys are heading off to pre-film an episode of idol room!

LIBRA - it’s hard to be optimistic about your own debut when you’re in the practice room learning the dance routine for another girl group’s. six of libra’s seven members have officially been drafted in as backup dancers for girl front’s live stages. 

VERVE CREATIVE

LEO - as per usual, christmas time was extremely profitable for leo, and they’re taking their customary january break. in order to keep public interest high, not that they really need any help, they’ve been instructed to make sure to go onto vlive and keep instagram updates frequent.

SiLVER - following long nights of choreography rehearsals, silver are being woken up early for a photoshoot with arena homme magazine, where they’ll be expressing a classy, mature side of themselves against a grey background. the concept is reminiscent of their latest comeback, you’re pitiful. 

magic(g)al - it’s comeback time! magic(g)al are being run off their feet, and for the first time, they’ve been scheduled to make an appearance on knowing bros! besides that, they’ve got music shows to record for, and they’re hoping for a second win. 

STATIC - static are in hot water. as leo’s follow ups, there’s a lot of pressure on the boys to do well, and although they are, verve still aren’t happy. it’s like they’ve been sent back to their trainee days, their every move heavily scrutinized. 

STRAWBERRiE - inspired by mobius entertainment, not that verve would ever admit it, strawberrie have been given their own youtube channel. however, where mobius lets their girls upload fun, vlog type content, verve will be keeping a much tighter hand on strawberrie’s channel. the girls are starting off the channel by recording short, minute long introduction clips each, to be released over a two week period. 

SUBPLOTS

Hit The Stage - dancing is some people’s calling. many an idol who falls short in vocals or rap gets by on their dance skills, and for some others, dancing is the very reason they got into the industry in the first place. for the first prompt in this series, write about your muse’s relationship with dance. were they pushed into classes as a child or is it a genuine love? do they feel insecure in their skills or are they comfortable? do they feel confident enough to perform alongside professional dance crews, some of whom might look down on so-called idol dancing?

DINGBAT ARTISTS

Siren — it’s the week before filming starts! that means the girls are undergoing makeovers, the company wanting a fresh look for everyone, before they’re shuffled off to take promotional pictures and film teasers consisting of solo interviews.

MYSTERY — time until MYSTERY’s latest release is quickly counting down. on the to-do list for this week? music video filming and jacket shooting. it’s nothing but cameras, makeup, outfit changes, and late, late nights.

MELODY — it’s beginning to seem like MELODY have captured the hearts of the general public, chatter about the “banana girls” everywhere. however, can they keep up the momentum? dingbat wants to get a better idea of how they’re being received, as well as how MELODY perform in a different setting — so they’re being sent to film an episode of idol room!

trainee group, neXus — after a gruelling previous week, the boys are in for something a lot different. they’re tasked with cleaning out all the practice rooms in the dbg building. the managers claim it’s for “team building.”

JACKRABBIT ARTISTS

STRINGS — initial plans for the band’s japanese album debut have been decidedly pushed back by joonyoung himself until the second week of november. the company’s first international debut album, joonyoung is stressing for the boys to put a good amount of blood, sweat and tears into their work for their japanese fans. the group’s staff and managers are putting lots of effort to keep the boys working as well, so no slacking off!

libra — what better way to promote the group further following one of their most successful comebacks to date than feature on an episode of snl? the girls will be front and center showing off their comedic acting skills and hosting for this coming week’s episode. ( x )

KILLJOY ARTISTS

ALL — on halloween, there will be a company-wide party! idol group members are expected to dress up in either the same costume from fright fest or a completely different one; this party, however, is more business than anything. get ready to kiss ass and flatter any and all company employees. besides this party, each group still has a certain schedule:

LURE — when was the last time members of LURE were able to do a full-group vlive? the company doesn’t remember, which is why they are setting up a special room during the halloween party where the four members of LURE will be doing a broadcast to meet their fans. SOLO 2 will also be filming the music video to “fantasy” and shooting teaser photos this week. 

Corpse Party — Corpse Party is set to comeback at the very beginning of december, which means november will be packed with filming music videos, taking concept photos, finalizing the album, and (of course) trying to get the public’s attention. this week, the boys will be recording “sorry” for their single album (“sorry” and the instrumental) and finalizing lyricsz

V!BE — V!BE will be in the middle of comeback stages galore this week, but promotions for “PEEKABOO” will only last two weeks before they are on their way around the globe for their first world tour! to promote their new song, the girls will be having a surprise fanmeeting before performing on m! countdown; members of V!BE need to prepare signed official goods to hand out!

trainee group: BLISS — in preparation for “SEEKING SERENITY”, BLISS members are given special classes this week on how to behave on broadcasts, what to say in interviews, and how to make themselves appear likable to the public. 

trainee group: 5YNC — it shouldn’t be a surprise that, once again, members of 5YNC are given something non-performance or debut related to do this week. instead of preparing songs or choreography, the members are given the task to decorate the rooms where the halloween party will take place and then return to their normal training schedules.

MOBIUS ARTISTS

ALL — gear up for superstar mobius mobile! company-wide, artists are going to be shooting promo pictures for the soon-to-come mobile rhythm game featuring songs by orion, NEO, and SOLAR, and the debuted subunits.

ORION — it’s a big week for mobius entertainment’s pioneers! the men of ORION should get their stomachs ready for a commercial shoot with goobne chicken, their first group CF deal in upwards of a year. it’s their chance to prove that they’ve still got it as well as get the public’s eyes back on them as a group rather than a bunch of busy individuals! eat up!

NEO — promotions for NEO:RED’s “district 9” comeback are in full swing this week, so the boys can anticipate sleepless nights and hours spent recording comeback performances for music shows this week. there’s no time for dilly-dallying and they can look forward to appearing on weekly idol, idol room, and the yang nam show before the week is over. NEO:BLUE gets a rare week off from standard promoting and rehearsals in preparation for an ad campaign with SUPERCOMMA B, that will take up the better part of the coming months. look forward to plugging their shoes in all future fansigns and vlives for the next year! They’ll also get the chance to have some fun playing What the?! ASMR on dingo music’s youtube channel. NEO:BLACK are set to comeback in the next month or so, so dance and vocal training are at a high. it’s a relatively laidback week for the NEO:BLACK boys, but there’s always room for more to do. now’s a good time to start booking appearances and brand deals.  on the brighter side of things, there’s been talks about a NEO vlive series in the making - it’d be in the boys’ best interest to be on their best behavior in the weeks to come.

SOLAR — the girls have officially opened a group youtube channel! say goodbye to privacy because now there’s no telling when a member of management will whip out the camera to film a silly moment or a rehearsal or even one of the girls taking a nap on a couch between recordings! candid is the candy that sells and the GLEAM girls, especially, can expect to see themselves pop up in a vlog or two as the weeks progress. the girls in every subunit, debuted and otherwise, are encouraged to be active and avid participants and make videos of their own to post for their fans (with manager discretion, of course.)

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — with their comeback coming up in a few weeks’ time, the girls can say goodbye to whatever time off they’ve been enjoying for the last couple of months. this week, SiLVER are filming the music video for their title track “you’re pitiful” and taking teaser photos. it’s a return for the girls to a slower style of song after their more upbeat tracks of the last couple of years.

magic(g)al — still riding high on achieving their first win after over three years, magic(g)al continue to promote “playing with fire” on music shows this week. excitingly, they have landed a group cf with reebok. the company has been attempting to establish magic(g)al’s brand reputation since the jump in public interest with their image change, and this is the first major opportunity they’ve gotten.

STATIC — after “critical beauty”’s success, the company has decided they can trust STATIC with control over most of what they release (nothing too crazy though, everything must still be thoroughly cleared and combed through). this is a win for STATIC, who are now expected to start submitting work for their next comeback as soon as possible to get a foot up. in the meantime, STATIC have an appearance scheduled on idol room!

trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — it’s official. STRAWBERRiE will be debuting in december, with “knock knock”, just in time for christmas! to build up hype, the girls are recording their pre-debut track “i’m gonna be a star”, to be released as the kick off track of verve’s digital music project verve fm. as they go to their very first photoshoot for group teaser photos, the pressure is on.

SUBPLOTS * for every episode of a subplot there will be either a writing mission that aims to develop your muse/relationships or a creative mission; regardless if your muse is only on a few episodes, you are free to do all of the missions! one can receive the same amount of points as doing a normal schedule for subplot missions.  

Hyena on the Keyboard ( 1 / 8 ) — solo writing mission (wc: 400): your muse will be interviewed by staff of the show; this interview will be spliced between your segments and broadcasted during your episode! the main topic will be about how your muse began writing and creating music -- individual interview questions will be unique to each muse’s story (feel free to make up your own!). some things to touch upon: when and what was the first song your muse wrote? did they always like creating music or where they pushed to try it? where do they get their inspiration? what kind of artists do they wish to emulate? what kind of emotions/feelings should one get from listing to their songs?

DINGBAT ARTISTS

Siren — it’s time for vacation! or, filming disguised as vacation. the members of siren are bundled up and shipped off to jeju, every moment of their journey being caught on camera. it’s supposed to be a bonding experience neatly packaged for consumption by their loyal fans; the perfect fanservice under the name “Siren’s Call.”

MYSTERY — d-day is approaching. this week marks the beginning of teasers being released to the public. fans are in a frenzy, ooh-ing and ahh-ing over new hair colors and  trying to figure out what concept MYSTERY is going for this time, noticing the definite links back to I NEED U. meanwhile, the members are spending day and night perfecting their choreo and lines.

MELODY — promotions are coming to an end for MELODY this week. they’re winding down and doing their goodbye stages. it’s been a successful debut so far, even though some of their newly gained fans are complaining already that MELODY isn’t being given proper attention, dbg too quickly distracted by MYSTERY’s comeback.

trainee group, neXus — the boys are being through the wringer again this week. they’re painfully not in sync during their dance covers and their choreographer is determined to whip them into shape. they’ve got long hours of practice ahead, where they need to build harmony amongst themselves in hopes of getting closer to a “perfect” image.

JACKRABBIT ARTISTS

STRINGS — ogenkidesuka? have you been brushing up on your japanese like we told you to? the boys have been working hard the last few weeks, tweaking their debut japanese album to as close to perfection as they can manage. this week, teasers will begin to drop for their album set to debut the second week of november, and the boys will begin early soundchecks for their debut showcase that will happen later this month.

libra — promotions for “what” have officially come to an end the first week of november, and the company is extremely pleased with libra’s progress. however, the company doesn’t want to let this momentum stop following the end of their promotions, so the girls will be heading to different cities across the country for some post-promotion fansigns and meet and greets.

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — SOLO 2 will be filming the music video for “fantasy” this week and preparing for stages beginning november 12th, right after V!BE concludes promotions for “PEEKABOO”; the rest of the girls will be able to attend the music video shoot as well as begin filming for an upcoming project to put LURE back on the map. 

Corpse Party — this week Corpse Party will be shooting comeback teaser pictures; get ready for a whirlwind of hair, makeup, clothing, and being directed on every detail for 12+ hours! although the comeback isn’t until december, kjc is growing impatient with the lackluster response the public gives Corpse Party and wants to try and get it right (for once). if this comeback doesn’t go well, though, Corpse Party might have to start looking elsewhere for opportunities or go back to promoting themselves.

V!BE — besides promoting non-stop on all music shows (seeing as this is their last week of promotions), the girls will also be busy preparing for their world tour that starts next week! get ready to do run-throughs of all title song choreography, a fitting for stage costumes, and prepare special solo stages (members are allowed to choose from senior artist solo songs; message each other so no song is repeated).

trainee group: BLISS — in preparation for “SEEKING SERENITY”, BLISS members are given their first mission: solo performances. because everything that the girls do will be broadcasted, absolutely everything needs to be perfect. they are asked to do something that shows their star qualities (whatever that means) and present it to some company officials for approval. although the show had been delayed for some time, the company promises that filming will begin soon.

trainee group: 5YNC — this week potential members of kjc’s new boy group 5YNC will be going out to the community multiple times throughout the week to do community service; they will be picking up trash in various communities. the boys, as per regulation, are reminded to not consume any food products found (as it was an issue in the past).

MOBIUS ARTISTS

ORION — it’d be wise to take some more care in bringing in the attention for orion these days, right? maybe it’s time for a scandal or two, those always boost sales, don’t they?

NEO — NEO:RED? never change, sweeties, you’re doing great. with promotions for district 9 in full swing, the feedback is hot and the comeback has been well-received. the boys should know the drill by now, it’s promotions as usual! they’ve taken a mighty blow to the ego with the lack of a fresh-off-the-presses win on music shows this week, but it’s only motivation to work harder and kick things into gear when it comes to building up that popularity. every minute counts in the industry! don’t fall to the wayside! neo:black are still preparing for their comeback this month and should be working hard to make sure they’re ready - vocally and mentally. neo:blue are due a fansign to match with their shiny new brand deal! it’s always a treat to come face-to-face with your fans, right, boys? even if they are a little on the intense side…

SOLAR — not to be dramatic or anything, but gleam? batter up! practices for “girl like me” have been worryingly rough this close to a comeback but it’s not yet a lost cause! don’t let the pressure of a successful debut keep them from having an equally fulfilling comeback! there’s still a few weeks left before there’s any real reason to fret, but the girls should keep a close eye on their progress in the days to come.

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — besides busy comeback preparations such as fittings for their stage outfits and shooting the final photos for the mini album’s jackets, SiLVER are asked (read as: told) to do a vlive as a full group to drum up hype for their latest release, without, of course, giving too much away.

magic(g)al — the girls are riding high on the upward momentum given to them by “playing with fire”, and besides recording for music shows, they have a fanmeet scheduled where they can give back to their fans for granting them their recent success.

STATIC — STATIC have been given exciting news this week — they’re going to hold their first solo concert at the end of the year. though nothing is set in stone yet, the current plan is that it will happen right after their december comeback, which the members are required to start submitting work for as soon as possible. as the options the boys have come up with are rifled through, along with a few choices from outsourced songwriters, STATIC are also being shuttled off to film an episode of after school club.

trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — it’s only a couple of days until the release of “i’m gonna be a star”, and the last minute rush to get everything ready includes filming a performance video! this week, the girls are also moving into their very own STRAWBERRiE dorms, with only two bedrooms between the five of them, so they better get used to living in close quarters for the foreseeable future.

DINGBAT ARTISTS

Siren — the members have their days absolutely packed, fitting as many activities as possible into a short period of time. Siren’s two week faux-vacation is coming to an end but they need more content, something a little juicier to catch the attention of non-fans as well as fans. busking like their trainee days? a proper dinner party where they get wine-drunk? and how about a game of truth or dare, where they reveal all their secrets – that is, all their harmless secrets, their managers remind.

MYSTERY — nerves are at an all time high, this week bringing MYSTERY’s comeback trailer to the public. it’s different than anything they’ve ever done before and fans are in a frenzy, theories being thrown everywhere. the members can feel the buzz of their group growing, it’s a surreal experience, and it’s hard to stay focused on preparations when they just want to refresh comments. 

MELODY — finally done with promotions, MELODY may have thought they would be getting a week off to refresh, but dbg is determined to keep them in the limelight. they somehow landed a spot on running man, appearing alongside other special guests for a fun-filled episode. 

trainee group, neXus — it’s a week full of vocal lessons! everything neXus’s future members are doing revolves around singing. even karaoke becomes work. but it’s worth it in the hopes of getting good scores on their evaluations at the end of the week.

JACKRABBIT ARTISTS

STRINGS — as the time gets closer towards the group’s japanese debut showcase set for the end of november, last minute modifications are being made to each song. members are back to stricter diet schedules, intense japanese lessons and daily song run-throughs. the group as a whole is expected to lay low the next few weeks until their trip to japan.

libra — while joonyoung is trying to ramp up hype for the boys in japan, the girls continue to make themselves stand out on the homefront. grab your workout shoes because the ladies of libra will be singing “chase me!” this week on their first ever appearance on sbs’ running man!

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — SOLO 2 will debut this week and perform on music shows as soon as the music video for “Fantasy” is released! the rest of the girls will begin the slow, tired preparation for not only a full-group comeback (that has been said to happen in february 2019) but also their 10 year anniversary fan event/concert! all of the girls, besides SOLO 2, are able to take a break from any and all activities this week before the preparations for the comeback and fan event happening early next year.

Corpse Party —  Corpse Party will be filming their music video for “Sorry” this week as their comeback in december is slowly, but quickly approaching. company officials have stated that the boys will comeback around mid-december, just in time to not be able to win any awards for the song during the year-end shows. at least their extended play “dangerous” is still eligible!

V!BE — this is the first week of V!BE’s world tour “V!BRANT TOUR: FEEL THE V!BE WORLDWIDE”; the girls will be performing in los angeles, são paulo, and paris this week. members of V!BE will be leaving seoul midday monday to fly to LA for their tuesday concert, fly to são paulo on wednesday for their thursday concert, fly to paris on friday for their saturday concert. they will be staying in paris until monday! the setlist for each concert includes every title song, b-sides from their new album “perfect velvet”, and individual solo stages.

trainee group: BLISS — this is it! the final week before episodes of “SEEKING: SERENITY” begin airing! to prep for the show, the girls are rushed to hair and makeup for last-minute promotional pictures that will be used on the official website. the girls are also instructed to pack their suitcases with all of their necessities before the show, as they will be moving to a new dorm for filming!

trainee group: 5YNC —  instead of the typical training schedule, the boys will be taking the same classes as BLISS did two weeks ago: how to manage yourself on live broadcasts (or on broadcast in general). this is to gear up for any special appearances the boys might have on “SEEKING: SERENITY.”

MOBIUS ARTISTS

ORION — the boys are given a free week this week -- enjoy the short-lived vacation while it lasts, who knows when you’ll get another!

NEO — and so begins the thick and thin of “take me higher” preparations for NEO:BLACK. the boys can expect to see teasers and promotions for their comeback up and around the internet very soon! in the meantime, they should focus on keeping their skills sharp and beautiful - as expected of vocal princes NEO:BLACK. amidst the preparations, the boys will also be doing a tour of popular radio shows to get their names out there for anyone who lives under a rock.

SOLAR — tensions are high with the promise of promotions coming up for gleam - this week the girls can look forward to a concept shoot for “a girl like me” following a brief meeting with the ceo to remind the girls of the expectations they’re upholding, especially since they’ll be promoting at the same time as their brother group NEO:BLACK. at least they’ve got the luxury of coming back first? don’t expect to get much sleep on set - a camera crew will be filming some behind the scenes extras. avoid any public missteps, in the meantime. exciting news for the eclipse girls! their time is finally coming, with their subunit debut set for mid-december, the thick of awards show season, it’s up to them to bring the anticipation up from a solid 5 to a hearty 10, if they want to compete with the masses of fans fighting for recognition for their faves! there’s something sweet and crazy about the kind of love mobius fans give.

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — the teasers for SiLVER’s latest comeback “you’re pitiful” will be dropped later this week in advance of the song and mini-album’s release. to help drum up hype for their comeback, not that much help is really needed, SiLVER will be going over to kbs cool fm’s kiss the radio! magic(g)al — hopefully the girls are ready to dust the cobwebs off of their variety show skills, because this week, along with the regular music show recordings, magic(g)al are being sent off to film an episode of “knowing bros”! 

STATIC — things are slow for the STATIC members this week. think of it as the calm before the storm that’s sure to hit them in the form of preparations for their december comeback, which, as has been decided by the powers that be, will be “shine”. but, in the interim, the boys are being provided some much needed downtime before they’re thrown in the deep end.

Siren — the girls are finally home after their work vacation for a week off for real vacation much to their displeasure. It’s frustrating to be overlooked for the younger kids. They’ll have to just make do, maybe focus on producing and composing their next hit, their manager suggests.

MYSTERY — it’s finally time! The comeback is here and this week will bring the boys’ very hyped music video and first performance.

MELODY — the girls of MELODY are odd on an adventure this week - they’ll be filming a Lotte World Special for vlive! it’ll be fun and games after dark, taking the new attractions for a spin.

trainee group, neXus — it’s a more relaxed week, the trainees given more free time. they’re encouraged to try their hands at creative work. maybe they can reach out to the Siren members for guidance?

STRINGS — here's to another week of preparing for their japanese debut! more or less the same schedule from last week, the boys will be focusing on practicing the songs, honing their japanese, and along with the rest of the great stuff that comes along with overseas debuts. 

libra — with “running man” last week, the girls will continue their rounds of variety shows and have a short group appearance on the hit television show “the return of superman”! although their segment is short, it’s a chance to show off their friendly charms to the public, as they’ve already proved themselves in other aspects.

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — while SOLO 2 is doing a plethora of promotions (music shows, radio shows, etc.), the rest of the girls (and SOLO 2 when there is downtime) are shuffled to the practice rooms to start rehearsing all of their previous title tracks and b-sides in preparation for their 10-year anniversary fan event. the girls have also been informed that they will film a music video for an unpromoted single that will show at their fan event! more details will be released in the upcoming weeks.

Corpse Party — with the music video shot, the promotional photos taken, and the album in the final stages of production, there is not much else to do besides practice, practice, and practice some more! however, despite the cold weather, the members of Corpse Party will be doing a guerilla concert in hongdae to start promoting themselves to the public before their actual promotions begin.

V!BE — this is the second week of V!BE’s world tour “V!BRANT TOUR: FEEL THE V!BE WORLDWIDE”; the girls will be performing in sydney, hong kong, and seoul this week. members of V!BE will be leaving paris midday monday to fly to sydney for their wednesday concert, fly to hong kong on thursday for their friday concert, fly to seoul on saturday for their sunday concert. as a reminder, the setlist for each concert includes every title song, b-sides from their new album “perfect velvet”, and individual solo stages.

trainee group: BLISS — “SEEKING: SERENITY” begins this week! no further schedule will be posted for BLISS until the survival show has finished. please check the “SEEKING: SERENITY” blog for more details. 

trainee group: 5YNC — while the company is busy with promoting LURE’s SOLO 2, gearing up for LURE’s comeback and 10-year anniversary fan event, getting ready to promote Corpse Party’s new release, flying V!BE all around the world for their tour, and fiming trainee group BLISS’ survival show, the members of 5ync are left in the dust again. they are asked to continue practicing and will be expected to show a new skill in evaluations, as the debut lineup may change in the future and the company only wants the best of the best.

ORION — unfortunately (or fortunately), the men of orion are given another free week: they are left up to their own devices and own schedules as the company focus on the younger groups.

NEO — finally! the neo:black boys return to the stage this week with take me higher! gear up for the true start of promotions and appearances on popular idol variety shows, as well as a special group comeback vlive to commemorate their return after such a long wait!

SOLAR — time is counting down until the much anticipated return of GLEAM to music show stages - as the first subunit of SOLAR to have had a music show win, their image should be that of a seasoned idol, even if it’s a lot to handle at this stage. on their tails, the girls of ECLIPSE should be gearing up for a debut in december, an earlier date than anticipated following the online hype of SOLAR’s fandom, BEAMs (beautiful empire of art and music). show faces, ladies!

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — it’s comeback week! “you’re pitiful” is set to release this weekend, meaning SiLVER are stuck firmly in the practice room thanks to some last minute choreography changes involving the chairs in the dance. will it all come together in time?

magic(g)al — after a busy couple of months, magic(g)al have been given their first week off in a long time. with their momentum achieved, they’re sure they won’t be sitting around for long, with whispers circulating verve about a january comeback for the girls. 

STATIC — this week, STATIC are heading to the studio to record the tracks for their latest mini-album, set to release this december. the members’ own songs are featuring front and center this time around, a first for verve creative. trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — STRAWBERRiE are finishing up in the recording studio this week too, and with their debut inching ever closer, are also recording individual video teasers “introducing” themselves to be uploaded in early december.

MYSTERY — this week, the members of MYSTERY are set to appear on “after school club” to promote their new song “RUN” to their international fans! better brush up on your english for better and easier communication!

MELODY — MELODY are set to comeback with “Cupid” later this month, joining the girl-group end-of-year rush; they will be learning the choreography and tightening up their diets and workout routines to stay in shape!

trainee group, neXus — this week the boys of neXus are asked to go to every pre-recording and every live performance of their senior group MYSTERY in order to learn up close on how a performance should look, as the real-thing is often so much more different than practice.

STRINGS — this week the boys will be hitting up various japanese variety shows as well as a few music shows just to promote their music; so far reception is going quite well, but not as well as it could be! perhaps it’s time to spice things up?

libra — this week, libra are given some well-deserved time off after a very long promotion cycle! get ready for a week of relaxation... before going back to the practice room to prepare for another song (or the year-end ceremonies...). 

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — the members of LURE are continuing to work on their 10-year anniversary fan event; even though SOLO 2 is still in the middle of promotions, they will not be attending any extra schedules in order to give their full attention to the upcoming fan concert.

Corpse Party — Corpse Party’s new single “Sorry” will be released this week and the members are preparing for their comeback stage (which will happen on december 6th!). as a way to say thank you to the fans, the boys are asked to prepare handmade gifts (approximately 200) for fans who show up at ther comeback stages at this week’s music shows.

V!BE — thanks to the fans, the girls of V!BE are given yet another week off. if anything this should go down in kjc history. the members of V!BE’s fanclub have asked the company to give them a long-due rest and kjc has listed; however, is the break truly a good thing, especially with tensions rising concerning deputing a new girl group?

NEO — NEO:RED are finally given a break this week after a long, grueling round of promotions; NEO:BLACK are continuing promoting their comeback song (and are expected to make a few extra stops on radio shows to display some vocal talents) while the boys of NEO:BLUE are practicing for their comeback in december, “my first and last”

SOLAR — it’s an exciting time for SOLAR: the girls of radiance will begin the steps towards their comeback later this month while eclipse are taking teaser photos and filming their music video for “sweet crazy love”! gleam, on the other hand, will continue performing on music shows and go on “idol room” this week.

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — this week, the members of SiLVER are appearing on “knowing bros”, so it’s time to swap out their sultry stage outfits for school uniforms. the girls aren’t exactly known for their variety show prowess, so we’ll see how they do.

magic(g)al — it’s the first week of filming the girls in their new dorms, including a tour of their rooms, following them around the city while they shop and go for food, watching their very staged domestic life and a whole lot of talking head interviews.

STATIC — STATIC’s teasers for “shine” are dropping later this week just in time for their comeback next week! prepare for a busy week of last minute comeback preparations. trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — the girls only have two weeks until their debut. this week, they’re launching their group’s youtube channel, airing their introductory interviews that they previously recorded and “knock knock”’s video teaser!

Siren — this week is much of the same, with the Siren girls throwing themselves into creative work and graciously finding the time to mentor their hoobaes. it’s a strange disconnect to feel so shunned by the company yet admired by their colleagues. 

MYSTERY — comeback week has come and gone and MYSTERY are now fully submerged in their promotion cycle. both fans and the general public seem to love RUN and somehow the boys get a chance to be exhilarated, do a vlive or two, while being shuttled between shows and practice and back again.

MELODY — it’s their first week off since debut and it feels strangely empty. the girls have time to themselves - maybe they’ll see how the trainees they’ve “left behind” are doing. or maybe they’ll venture out into the public without staff - only to encounter demanding fans.

trainee group, neXus — much like last week, the trainees are looking past performance abilities to other ventures. they’re tasked with developing skills this week - especially those fit for variety. dbg wants them to be marketable, after all.

JACKRABBIT ARTISTS

STRINGS — after weeks of delay, STRINGS’ japanese debut is finally here! the boys will be flying out to japan on wednesday and hold their debut showcase on friday. the group will only be staying in the country for two weeks as they perform on japanese music shows and go on a few variety shows as well! hopefully they’ve studied their japanese… the boys of STRINGS are going to need it!

libra — libra will finally be ending the after-promotion promotions with a round of appearances on various radio shows. although the girls aren’t able to show off their strong dancing abilities, vocalists will be able to shine! make sure to prepare some fun vocal talents, song covers, impersonations, or interesting stories to share with audiences!

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — SOLO 2 will be going on “let’s eat dinner together” this week (while, of course, promoting “fantasy” on the normal music shows). all of the girls will continue preparing for the 10-year anniversary fan event, mainly by working on line distributions and changed choreography due to the drastic difference in member count, during every free moment SOLO 2 has. will the availability of lines cause any arguments?

Corpse Party — there is only about a week or so until Corpse Party enters the music show scene again with their new solo “sorry”! so, in an attempt at trying to get the members of Corpse Party known to the general public (or at least those who watch a few idol variety shows), the members will be pre-recording a full episode of “weekly idol” and be battling it out with mini games to take home a beef set. exciting stuff.

V!BE — with the brief -- yet busy -- world tour wrapping up with a final concert in seoul, the girls are v!be are surprisingly given a week off in rest (not due to kjc suddenly having a change in heart, but because v!be’s fanbase has made it very clear to kjc that the girls need a break ‘or else’). although this week isn’t truly “free” (they still need a manager to accompany them anywhere out), they are able to do most things. 

trainee group: BLISS — see the “SEEKING: SERENITY” blog!

trainee group: 5YNC — this week the boys will have another round of evaluations, not of a ‘new skill’ but a cover challenge (similar to that on SEEKING SERENITY). the boys are advised to pick a song from any senior artist and cover it as a solo performance; however, the song must have a dance (either already choreographed or choreographed themselves)! 

MOBIUS ARTISTS

ORION — the men are back and better than ever! ORION is booked, honey. get ready for a group appearance on SNL. the guys will be participating in a game show parody sketch as well as a sketch documentary about their rise to fame. they should be prepared to poke fun at themselves and take a good-humored beating from the comedians.

NEO — promotions for NEO:BLACK continue with take me higher. NEO:BLUE participate in a sponsored photoshoot for athletic wear and NEO:RED participate in a fansign tour across the peninsula.

SOLAR — radiance are holding a performance showcase for their fans in busan this week while gleam begins variety show promotions for “girl like me” before its release. eclipse girls can expect to take it easy - if a debut just weeks to come isn’t something that weighs too heavy on their minds!

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — congratulations SiLVER! “you’re pitiful” was a bit of a risk, but nonetheless, the fans and the public ate it up, and it’s cleaning up on music shows. it’s time to give back to the fans with a fanmeet! 

magic(g)al — this week, the girls have been given some news out of the blue. they’re going to be filming a reality show. it’s time to pack up their old dorms and move into some nicer ones, where at last they each get their own rooms. the show will be filmed four days a week throughout december, and is due to begin airing on magic(g)al’s youtube channel at the same time as their january comeback. 

STATIC — leave the recording studio behind, it’s time for STATIC to move on to shooting the pictures for their upcoming photobook and filming their upcoming music video. prepare for endless outfit changes and long nights of reshoots. trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — STRAWBERRiE’s schedule this week is busy, busy, busy. when they’re not running around on set for their debut music video, the girls will be receiving their final trainee evaluations. if they were uncertain of what part they played in the group up until now, they won’t be after this.

Siren — with Siren’s upcoming docuseries, dingbat group is once again shoving them into the spotlight as a unified group. not only are they going through style changes again, to usher in new activities, they will be appearing in variety shows. most notably, they will have an appearance as four on “knowing brothers” that has already garnered lots of buzz. 

MYSTERY — mystery is currently in a whirlwind of pre-comeback preparations. their songs have to be finalized, they’re still working on polishing their comeback choreo, and stylists are waving hair dye around. they’re currently bogged down with perfecting as much as they can, especially physically, before their music video and photo shoots take place. 

MELODY — caught up in the throes of debut, melody are still in the process of dealing with their first week of idolhood. straight after grueling hours filming for music shows, they’re herded to a radio station for a recording of sukira; their first, real introduction to the general public. 

trainee group, neXus — there have been whispers around the dingbat group building that neXus will be undergoing another transformation, the current lineup either changed out or cut down. all the trainees vying for a spot have been given individual performance tasks for an evaluation at the end of the week.

JACKRABBIT ARTISTS

STRINGS — next week, STRINGS’ will debut in japan with their first album. with libra’s current promotions and growing domestic fan base, the ceo is focusing his sights on STRINGS moving outward to increase his company’s international revenue. members of STRINGS are expected to study their japanese before flying to japan for a few schedules next week.

libra — the girls will be continuing to promote “what” through halloween into november. the song is doing fairly well, possibly signaling a potential for the girls’ first ever win. while at the arirang studio, the girls will be filming for a “pops in seoul” segment: the sticky note Q&A! be prepared to answer questions from fans and show off some special talents! 

KILLJOY ARTISTS

LURE — all of the members of LURE are going to their first schedule as four in quite some time! gear up for “beauty bible” and be prepared to give a few helpful tips on how to take care of your skin while the weather changes. all members will only be filming for a segment of the show.

Corpse Party — killjoy is once more ignoring the member’s wishes and encouraging them to find their own venues to play at; luckily for Corpse Party, they’ve managed to book a show at an underground rock club for friday night (but, like always, they’ve got to promote themselves on their instagrams and the like). at least the company has already approved their comeback in a few months. 

V!BE — the past few weeks, the girls have been in america shooting their music video for “peekaboo” as well as some tidbits for an upcoming show; this week, teaser pictures and tour prep is all what’s on the schedule! although some pictures were taken in america, the remaining teaser pictures will be shot early in the week before V!BE’s debut stage at fright fest.

trainee group: BLISS — killjoy is slowly preparing the girls for the upcoming survival show, “SEEKING SERENITY”, by opening up BLISS’s official youtube channel (name: kjc next generation). early in the week, the girls will be filming a dance video, which will be posted later that week (note: there are around 5 npcs + members currently in this trainee group, making a total of 10) 

trainee group: 5YNC — before the weather gets too cold, the boys are instructed to go busk in hongdae to try and gain some recognition; the set list includes covers of senior artists as well as songs from other well known groups. they are reminded, however, to not let it slip that they are trainees while they are performing.

MOBIUS ARTISTS

ORION — ORION are in the throes of preparation for a full-group return to the stage just months from now. in the hopes of kicking up some more publicity, members have been booked to appear on “problematic men” and “running man”. between appearances, the members are expected to finetune their dancing abilities - save, of course, the DOS boys, who have done their fair share of promoting in the group’s hiatus.

NEO — the grind never stops for NEO and this week is no different. NEO:RED’s promotions for “district 9” are set to gear up, but that doesn’t mean that things are going to slow down and members of the subunit can expect to trade stage outfits for something more camera ready in a photoshoot for vogue between filming for music shows. the rest of the group will be kept busy with variety appearances: NEO:BLUE on idol room and infinite challenge, and NEO:BLACK on radio star.

SOLAR — with a comeback set for december, there’s pressure on radiance to prove themselves as a worthy subunit in the SOLAR lineup - following the success of gleam’s debut, the expectations are higher than before, especially with the anticipation of eclipse’s debut right around the corner. management has buckled down even harder on the girls and expects them to hone their skills with training all whilst maintaining a presence on V! app. all members of radiance should live stream this week to build anticipation. gleam are expected to comeback next month but that doesn’t mean promotions have to wait until then! it’s full steam ahead into a stint on weekly idol! both subunits will be filming a glamour cf for lotte’s department store app.

VERVE ARTISTS

SiLVER — SiLVER have landed themselves a pepsi endorsement! this week, all members are on set filming their commercial, and can expect to be drinking pepsi at all events and fanmeets for the foreseeable future.

magic(g)al — it’s comeback time, and the pressure is on! a year on from their concept change, the girls are standing firmly on new ground, and their popularity has been creeping up and up ever since. it’s time for the girls to take to the stage and prove the last of their doubters that the concept change was the right choice (whether they agree with it or not).

STATIC — wrapping up critical beauty promotions with their first win under their belt, the boys are off to their first photoshoot, with céci! they aren’t gracing the cover just yet, but they are recording a short, accompanying dance clip! 

trainee group: STRAWBERRiE — with their debut scheduled for the beginning of december, the buzz surrounding verve’s rumored new girl group online is heating up. the final line-up and final positions are being set in stone, and there’s been talk of them releasing a pre-debut track via verve’s upcoming digital music project too.
