it was like any minute now, tatiana was going to lose her god damn mind. she had no outlet, no one to talk to, no one to confide in that she fully trusted. she felt weak, and silly, and so out of her element it had her hands shaking and her brow in a constant furrow. it wasn’t that mean, powerful expression. it was filled with something she couldn’t quite pin point, something that made a pain in her chest that she hadn’t felt before. it hurt like a bitch, whatever it was. she needed to get away from people, to find somewhere that she could lay into her emotions and just be destructive. she’d heard talks of an abandoned warehouse somewhere right on the outskirts of town, and she managed to convince someone to drop her off there with a small spell from her mother’s spell book she still had. being alone, entirely alone, she let her thoughts spiral until she closed her eyes and felt a warmth in her palms. the next string of events she didn’t remember too much of, picking up things and smashing them into the ground, breaking glasses, screaming until her throat burned. it felt good to unload, and by the end of it, her chest was rising and falling as she marched over to her bag to fish a spray can out of it.
back on the isle, she would mark places that she claimed, and this was the closest thing she felt to home. destruction in her path, forgotten royal things broken and shattered around her, just like the scraps they sent back to the isle. so she began to mark the wall here as her chest heaved with heavy breathing, purple paint leaving traces on the wall as she worked on her piece. her eyes were glowing bright green as she felt her focus aim directly at branding this wall with her signature isle mark from back home, the sound and smell of the spray paint comforting.
