A mere minute ago, she was doing little more than wallowing in a bout of self pity. Her parents were an embarrassment and the rest of the rotten, prejudice brood they associated with weren’t much better. She all but stormed out of the great hall to get away from them, muscle memory leading her to a familiar hiding place. Carina threw her hands up and let out a loud, frustrated groan. Of all the people in the world she could be related to-- she barely had time to register the blur of pink tulle and dark hair barrelling straight towards her. Whatever it was, it shrieked a few words at her before nearly tackling her to the ground. “What the hell?!” Carina exclaimed at the figure cowering behind her, trying to steady herself.
