I’m alive!!! My apologies everyone for just disappearing 😔 The summer passed by so fast and I’ve been swamped ever since the semester started (grad school ain’t no joke lol). The next time I posted I wanted to have some sort of update on part 7, but I figured at this point I should say something! My apologies for how long the wait has been, this first part of the series should’ve been done at the beginning of this year, but ahhh!!! I’m so sorry yall! But just to reassure you guys, no this account isn’t abandoned, and no For the Birds isn’t abandoned!! I’ve just been busy, I’m awful at multitasking, and I’m doing the best I can :’) I said this when I first posted the series, but all the chapters this for first part are written! I’m basically just editing them as we go. Some of them though I’m making some pretty big revisions to, most of my works after getting betaed end up being a few extra thousand words more than my original draft, so it does take some time. I’m hoping to get back to you guys in a few weeks! Thanksgiving break is soon and then winter break is a few weeks after that. Part 7 should be ready before the end of the year!
As always though, if you prefer not to wait and have some spare time, there are always spots open to beta the next few parts! If this sounds interesting and you’re 18+, please just dm me and feel free to ask questions if you have any about expectations or things like that.
Last thing I’ll say is that I have a proposition for you guys! Which one would you prefer? Once part 7 is complete would you prefer for me to just go ahead and release it, or would you prefer for me to wait until I’m also ready to post part 8? I say this because both part 7 and part 8 currently are under 10k (just barely lol), and for those who want me to come back with something a bit more substantial, part 7 and 8 together would equal about how long some of the other parts are (currently around 17k). Now I will say, part 7 and 8 would not be posted on the exact same day, but they’d be posted within a week of each other depending on what’s going on, if we go with that option! So considering this, which would you prefer?
