THERE FOR YOU ➝ GABMETT.
There was really nothing that could bring Gaby down today. She was still floating from Dani’s surprise proposal, and felt really good about the way her own surprise had gone this morning. Now they both got to wear beautiful rings and show them off to the world. She was also excited to be hosting Thanksgiving, and to get to spend it bringing both her own and her fiancée’s families together. Gaby loved hosting, she always had. She was convinced that if she didn’t love her career so much, she’d make the perfect little housewife.
With that said, however, cooking for any kind of holiday was stressful. She’d yelled at Dani to stop touching things, and had sent her to go entertain their families while Gaby finished up on preparing dinner. Another thirty minutes maximum and everything would be done and ready to serve, and Gaby was already wiped out. She’d just gotten done checking on the turkey when she’d heard the sound of quiet footsteps entering the kitchen behind her, and was about to turn to yell at Dani to stay out of there, though she paused when she saw her brother standing there instead.
“Oh. Hey, Em. Food’s almost done, so if you’re looking for snacks, don’t. I’m pretty sure I’ve made enough to feed an entire town. You need room to eat as much of it as possible.”
