awkward reunion ;;

DATE & TIME: 10/09, Late night.
When Ryan got the text from the unknown number turned Nina Fabray, he had already finished getting ready for bed. It had been a tough day with their fitness coach, and he was so looking forward to a quiet night in. But it was Nina, of all people who texted him -- to a number that he had kept for the last 5 years in hopes of this exact thing to happen. He didn’t even let himself feel pathetic when he jumped out of bed and went straight for his car keys -- only pausing shortly to grab a pair of jeans and a shirt to put on as he runs down to his car.
This whole thing could go in so many ways that Ryan doesn’t even know how to begin to prepare. Is Nina drunk? Was that why she texted him? Is she looking to have a fight? Or is she just going to tell him that she doesn’t want to see him again, and that they should pretend to not know each other? Because God, that would hurt. A very tiny part of him screamed that maybe, just maybe, this was Nina giving them a chance again after so many years.
With these thoughts plaguing his thought on the drive over, he soon found himself at the exact address. Taking a deep breath, which really did absolutely nothing to calm his nerves, he went up and knocked on the door.
His first thought when the door opened? God, she looks even more beautiful now than she did all those years ago.
