Eddie took a deep breath before he pushed the wooden bar door open and stepped inside. He glanced round at the high tables which were dotted around in front of the bar and tugged the arms of his jacket down as he took a few steps further in. Looking towards the back he could see the booths were all full of groups of dressed up party people and his heart began to race that perhaps she had decided against meeting him after 3 months away.

Straightening his bow tie he walked over to the side and up the three steps to the raised area with it's floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the Thames and his face lit up as he spotted her right up the back. Trying to look casual and not as if he would happily sprint across the distance Eddie stopped as he reached her table. "Hello Kit," he gushed. "You look absolutely stunning this evening." @kit-just-kit

Aoife sat down and pushed one highly decorated cocktail glass across the table to Kit with a dramatic sigh. "As I said on the phone, we are here to get drunk, critique outfits and complain about men," she stated as she raised her glass in a toast. "Here's to friendship over dicks!" Taking a large drink and almost spearing herself with a cocktail umbrella she put the glass down and leaned forward, "Honestly, you would think I would know better by now but I fall for the same old corny lines everytime. I wouldn't mind but this one wasn't even all that good in bed. Why did I even bother for three weeks? I swear I could have drawn him a map and he still wouldn't have got me off properly. I doubt neon signs would have helped!" @kit-just-kit

First meeting

Eddie pulled on his grey jacket as he climbed out of the car, gazing up at the house before him. Kensington had plenty of impressive homes and in some ways it amoused him when he found people were still not happy with them considering the amount they cost. However he had also been in enough of them to know that some of the room layouts were crazy and left the home owners with tiny amounts of useable space. He wasn't totally sure what he was going to find in this house but his colleague Jason had asked him to come and consult as there were a few issues he was struggling to get right and with a silent prayer that this was not going to be one of these insane, entitled clients with completely unrealistic expectations he walked up to the door and rang the bell.

As the door opened he caught sight of the most beautiful woman and froze for a moment before his brain kicked into gear. "Hi...I mean hello. I'm Eddie Millar.....I'm here....yes I'm here from Watson and Morris architects. You have my colleague....what I mean is my colleague Jason called me and asked me to come and join him here....at your home." With a flash of a grin he tried desperately to stay professional and not let his gaze drop down the woman's figure.
