So im getting my top surgery in July and my sister has had the exact same surgery to avoid getting breast cancer (although hers was followed by Replacement Boobs) and she used to be a nurse so she's offering to help my fiancée take care of me after the surgery and show her how to do stuff efficiently. There's no joke here I'm just really happy she's really sweet and such a good sister

My folks got my back

I am currently visiting my parents for a few weeks. (I’ve been living in another province for the last 12 years). I was at a friend’s house this evening and got back to their house to find that they had company. An old friend of theirs that I haven’t seen in probably 15 years. They introduced me to him as their son Mikael. He confused me with my brother, so then my dad explained to him that I used to be “insert birth name here” but am now Mikael. This is huge for them, huge for me. They were so casual about it, it was only a little awkward as their friend took it all in. And then we carried on chatting. I am so proud of them for the progress they’ve made with my transition!

Me at the corner store buying munchies today for me and wifeyman Guy behind counter: "will that be all sweetheart....?" *looks up at my face* "I'm sorry dude..." Me: "it's all good man. I get that a lot. How muh do I owe ya?" I guess the t is kicking in xD
