Climbing has drastically changed my view of exercise. I set a goal weight of 125# over two years ago; progress toward that goal has been slow and inconsistent. In the past, this would have been extremely discouraging. This time, I’ve focused on the improvements I’ve been making in the gym and celebrating the cool things I can do with my body. I’m aware now that when I’m struggling to reach a goal, sometimes it just takes a shift in perspective.
