I finished up Ech's redesign, I gave them a warm and cold weather outfit.
Close up and detailed explanations below the cut
Body:
For the body I mainly based it off of how Pluless draws Ech with sort of paw like feet. I also only gave them 4 digits on each foot/paw and hand. Also the little magenta markings that Ech has in FTN. I just wanted to give Ech a tail, I've based it off of one of my own succulents, since echeveria is the name of a succulent. Now the hair is basically just Pluless' redesign of Ech's hair. I also tried to make Ech more cat-like just cause I felt like it. I also think it'd be neat if Ech had some mossy spots on them. Also kinda brownish feet, dirty feet. The claws are brown to make them look like thorns.
Also for there to be differences based on the season in warm sunny seasons Ech has a more darker green skin tone, and fuller leaves. But in colder seasons Ech is more yellowed with wilty leaves, and to have more mossy skin for cold insulation. And the leaves on the tail wilt off in the cold.
Warm outfit:
Heavily based on the redesign that Pluless did of Ech, which I where I took the shirt from, added little embroidery on shirt cuffs. I did add the necklace that Lucas gave to Ech but I changed the design of it. I did make the overalls cuffed at the bottom and added big pockets on the front and sides. I also added white petal embroidery on them, and pins on the front pocket, one pin I tried to add the Divinus Magia logo on. The ribbon on the shirt was changed and added as a belt on the overalls.
I didn't want to add the honey witch hat on and cover up the leaf hair I was proud of it. If I did add the hat I would have put a blue ribbon on it.
Cold outfit:
This is based off of the canon winter outfit that Ech has. Also a gingerbread man. But I did change up some of the colors, the three different shades of brown bothered me. I made the scarf red, like red licorice. The sweater to resemble a ginger bread man, with green gumdrop buttons (pom-poms), I wanted the wavey lines and the white trim. The hat is yellow, along with the mittens and boots, but I did give the hat a white trim to match the sweater. I gave Ech a fun glittery green skirt, it is based off of the fruit slice gummies that are coated in sugar. Also the white and brown striped tights are from the canon outfit.
The boots do look funky but I don't want the child to get frost bite on their feet. Also their miserable in the winter partially due to the weather partially the outfit.
I actually drew another character again it's Ech from Fairy Tail Origins this time. I decided to make the child a little more creature just because, also I based this design off of Pluto's redesign of Ech. So here's my design of Ech.
