Aside from keeping each other on our toes, we've been doing some serious work, and are revving up to big changes we know you're going to want to see. Hello!

My name is Irene Muller and I'm the Head of Communications at FTS Studios!

I've been happily answering all of the questions that you have been sending me. I've also been the one scrolling through our tags and looking at some of the things that have been said in the last few days. I am so thankful that many of you have remained interested and compassionate about our project that could be a huge undertaking.

I know that you were all hoping that this would be from PR stating that applications were up again and I am very sorry that I cannot give you an estimated time on when we will be opening our reopen for volunteer applications. I'm hoping that it is within the next couple of weeks, but please do hang with us. I am a here to announce that we are still around and put up some of the most common questions I received. I do apologise for the mess that is our Tumblr page and I am hoping that PR and I can work on reorganising the entire tumblr page to make it easier to navigate for everyone and that is why we have taken down most of the links. However, here are some of the most common answers:

Q. Is this a scam? A. No.

Q. Is FTS actively seeking volunteers for [insert position here]? A. No, FTS is on standby mode at the moment and we are not accepting applications from any party for any position.

Q. Will there be a tumblr post about when you are seeking more volunteers? A. Yes! There will be an all call from PR when we are accepting applications again!

Q. Are you all still note fishing for the 55k notes? A. We understand the concern about the notes and we have decided to disband all of this. This was originally done by a staff member to gage public interest and we have collectively decided that will no longer be continuing with it due to the problems it has caused. For that we do apologise.

Q. Have you gotten permission from Andrew Hussie? A. We have opened a line of communication with What Pumpkin LLC.

Q. Are you doing this for money? A. No one is being paid for their positions. I am not paid, and the executives are not receiving payments for their efforts. We are also not accepting donations. Everything we’re currently working on is, in fact, volunteer work.

Q. Is this FTS first project? A. We would love for this to be our first project as a collective whole. We would love it if was our first project of many!

These are some of the most common questions that I get. I don't respond publicly to any questions and I delete all anonymous questions. If you have a question that wasn't listed above I'd be more than happy to answer it over at harryceramic. Thank you for sticking by us through all of this! I hope to give you guys more good news shortly.

Hello Homestuck Community

My name is Stephanie Hughes; you all know me as Head of PR, Assistant Director of the project, the sassy person who answer questions with gifs, and tumblr user ohgodwry.

I would like to take a moment to thank the endless support we’ve been receiving since we've started this fanimation project three days ago. You all have fantastic to us, and frankly you’ve made our days brighter after the recent criticism we have been receiving in our inbox and have seen posted in our tags. While I try my best to assure you that we are serious about this project, it has become apparent that there are a few misconceptions that have been made due to our poor choice in diction.

And for that, I deeply apologize. I should have taken better care of how things were worded in our FAQ, Applications, even answering the many questions we have received. We are currently rewriting the pages that we have posted so that it’s more clear and to the point.

We are in fact not hiring staff members.. We are recruiting volunteers for this individual project. There is no monetary exchange in anything we are doing. There is no intention of making money off of this. No one is being paid to do this Homestuck Fanimation, the executives are not receiving payments for these efforts, we are not even accepting or asking donations. Everything we’re currently working on is, in fact, volunteer work. It is a collaborative effort to make something we all love and enjoy.

I would also like to apologize to those who have applied to volunteer under the impression of being paid. If you wish to redact your application, that is perfectly understandable. Just send us an email with the topic FTSRedact and we will toss your application out the metaphorical window. I extend this to anyone who wishes to drop out of the project for their own personal reasons. We will not hold it against you and we do hope to continue having your support.

That being said and done, I would also like to point out that we are also not doing this for attention. We are doing this not only to give back to the community but to show what we are capable of when we come together. I love this fandom, as do everyone else that is a part of their team. The Homestuck has a wonderful fandom; it’s talented, creative, friendly to those who are coming in, and in all intentions of affection, infectious. As a fellow member of this fandom, it saddens to me to see how our fandom is looked down upon, and I personally hope that a project like this can show everyone how great we really are. While the executives aren’t particularly into the comic, they openly admit that they love the Homestuck Fandom. And they hope to show their love with this project as well.

I hope that this clears some things up about our credibility and our integrity. Again, I deeply apologize for any trouble we have caused.

Well we are actually very aware that several people have posted that this is a fake/scam and what we have to kinda say on it is, "You're wrong, and we are going to prove you wrong as well." People go on and on about us not having a staff, etc. etc. All we have to say to that is, well- we are accepting applications for a reason. We actually do have a staff (and it's expanding quite rapidly) and simply because we don't want to release the information on their names/usernames just yet, we are suddenly a fake. It's really sad to see that some people can be so doubting and negative about something that is so fun and wonderful. So without further adieu- here are our personal statements from some of our staff members!

Hi! As Executive Director, I’ve been staying really busy! (In the best of ways. ;) ) Since the project started, I’ve gotten tons of emails and applications from excited and enthusiastic individuals wanting to help out. We do interviews several times a day, and our team is growing exponentially. I’m excited to start on production work soon, and I look forward to hearing about how excited everyone is with me! Hey there- my name is Cain, I am the Producer and lead animator for FTSstudios! c: As kinda the founder of the project let me go ahead and state we are one hundred percent going to follow this through, no if and’s or butts about it. This to me personally is not just some side task to get fans, notes, or whatever you could think of. This project is a way to give back to the fans and community of Homestuck, a people that in my experience are a kind and caring lot. I have seen this community do some pretty stellar things, so why not try our hand at giving the all glorious Hussi’s work life in a new way for the fans?

I love what this community does, I love how supportive they are of each other and how welcoming they are, this for me isn’t for personal gain of any sort. I don’t want money or fame. I want people to be able to sit down and watch our animation and really be like, “Wow, Homestuck is such an awesome thing.” Ever since we started this I have been contacted by a host of animators and artists wanting to take part. (Seriously can’t believe you guys thought I was going to be the only one animating. That got me laughing. I am not THAT ambitious. x3) I personally have been an artist all of my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I started animating as a side hobby when I was about fifteen and from there it has just flourished. (Worked on original works and fan works alike.) I now attend Portsmouth Uni for animation. (I am a sophomore technically.) I personally cannot wait to be able to recruit more people to the animation/artist team and I am so excited to get to do this project. This project will not only be able to expand my horizons as an animator, but as a person as well because I personally look forward to working with new people and meeting those who have offered up their support.

Hello there! This is Sami, assistant producer and consultant of FTS studios. I was incredibly lucky to have this opportunity arise in my life recently, since FTS is composed of incredibly talented and genuine individuals.

It's come to my attention that people on Tumblr have been coming to us saying that this project is fake, or it's something we're not going to follow through on. This is clearly not the case, and let me tell you why:

On Saturday, 4/13, it will be my two-year anniversary of Homestuck. I got into this comic, thinking it would be just another story to read or another fun fandom to add to my collection. However, what I got was so much more. In this short two year span, my life has changed completely. Homestuck means more to me than anyone will ever be able to comprehend. That's why I'm so lucky to be a part of this project.

FTS's Homestuck project is about giving back. Giving back to a community who deserves it. If you think this project is "bogus" or "a scam", think again. We're devoted to this project 150% because we know that it is going to make so many people in this fandom happy.

What this project means to me is a chance to tell the people in this fandom "thank you for changing my life". I honestly don't know where I'd be without this fan community: depressed, lonely, lost, empty? Words cannot adequately express what Homestuck has done for me, and this project will be but just a taste of what FTS wants to bring to the fans.

And it will be something glorious.

I love Andrew Hussie, I love MSPA, I love Homestuck, and I love you guys. So, please, take the time to understand and appreciate what this project is worth. Because it is genuine, and it will be something magnificent.

Just trust me.

My name is Stephanie Hughes and this is my opinion of the people claiming us to be a sham. My professional opinion, from my professional position as the head of Public Relations and Assistant Director.

Very professional.

All jokes aside, I understand why there’s doubt. There’s always doubt, as long as the lingering thought that we aren’t going to pull through. After all, there have been a few projects for Homestuck, that have obviously fallen through. But I hope that once a certain post reaches 55,000 notes--which considering how long animation takes, it isn’t really a lot-- we can show you our screen caps and leaks and prove you guys wrong. But there are some people that saying that we’re only one person, when it’s quite the opposite.

I’m sorry that there are those that are doubtful of us, but lets be honest. We’re not asking for money. We’re only asking for help to give back to the community. As well as trying to get FTS Studios on its feet so that after Homestuck(assuming we don’t get to animate the rest of the series) we can move on to other serious projects.

But hey, we can’t change the minds of haters. Even if we rub it in their faces going “NEENER NEENER NEENER”, they won’t suddenly start supporting us. While I understand there is doubt, and those that are doubtful will see in due time, some people simply can’t be convinced otherwise.

I hope one day we can all get along and be friends, but at the moment all I can do is keep on working on my part to make this happen. It only makes it more satisfying to see this up and running if we get some non-believers.

This project was something I had planned on backing from the start. Even if the start was indeed somewhat of a jest that happened in my apartment on a night when two boys had nothing better else to do. I said I would do whatever it took to help this project out and I am sticking to that. Animation is always something that I have more so recently become interested in and working on a something such as this will help me get the exposure I need in this field. But art is something that has been with me my entire life. Art is my passion and this will help me further my career in this area. I will be willing to do whatever the studio needs me to do because I want this idea of ours to become a reality and see it come to life.

Hey all! I'm Chris, currently one of the composers for the FTS studios team! First thing I have to say, April fools day has past. The time is past for a prankster's gambit. This is happening. I've talked to all the people on the team, and really, there's no way this isn't happening. I'm 100% excited, and ready to haul for this project, and i'm ready to shove even more than 100% into this as well. I'm so incredibly excited for this, words very much failed me when I was accepted onto the team. This is real.

Hello! My name is Nellie Fauste and I'm the fandom coordinator for this amazing endeavour!

The fandom is a very peculiar gathering. I personally find it amazing the community that has been created through a mutual interest and love of one webcomic. We've really created something wonderful here on tumblr, and I am SO grateful to be a part it.

Although I haven’t been a part of the fandom the longest, I still feel extremely proud that Homestuck has made it this far. My love for it has grown more and more since day one, and honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without the inspiration it gives me.

There are many understandable doubts for the success of this project, but I can assure you we will try our best to keep it afloat. I have full faith in our team, this is something I've wanted to see happen since I first read through Homestuck, and I'm so thankful to be given the position I am in.

ATTENTION HOMESTUCKERS

I might not have very many followers, but I would like to inform you all of a of an AWESOME SPECTACULAR DJFEJFIDIVDBIGVBNJEGBIV WORTHY PROJECT THAT FTS Studios is doing!

They are going to animate act one of Homestuck! If this is successful they will show it to Hussie and Whitefish. I'm surprised I can write this while flailing about and squealing like an idiot in excitement!

For Homestuckers over 16, heck perhaps even non-Homestuckers if you're interested they will need to have people on their production team (This includes sound editors, researchers, and a lot more.) Eventually they will hold voice acting auditions as well!

Voice Acting is a special case, it's preferred you are over 16, but if you're voice acting skills are awesome enough you'd still be able to be a part of this.

For those like me and are not able to submit a resume because you're under the age, please reblog and if you want make your own text post to make sure every one knows about this project!
