The weekend was a fun one! Peony got up early to enjoy some sunshine and play on the monkey bars, and Poppy found Dahlia dancing on the back porch and wanted to show her big sister some love. Then, Cosmos finally maxed out that writing skill, so it’s time for him to head out into the big wide world, after blowing out the candles with the only other people awake in the house, Poppy and Peony.

Cosmos gained the Proper trait, so his simology comes out as: Bestselling Author - Cat Lover - Kleptomaniac - Proper. He is also eligible for heir, so we’ll be keeping an eye on him!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?? I finally set aside some time to play this save, and it didn’t disappoint. First off, I accidentally left my medieval mods installed, one of which replaced the Wabbit tablet with a nice medieval scroll, so Peony got a little taste of magic with her movement skill. Then, once I’d fixed that, it was time for a Sunday full of skill building and family time (I didn’t know adults could tuck in their spouse!!)

And, finally, I realized that with only two births left in this generation, it was time to age Sweet William and Mercury up to adulthood. My, how time flies.

Meet Sweet William Chalk and Mercury Lust, a couple of soft (or not?) lads ready to take the world by storm. Sweet William is a writer by trade, but he’s just started out on his publishing journey; Mercury says they’re unemployed and out looking for work, but manages to bring money home everyday anyway? They’ll be the founders of my new 100 baby challenge, focusing on working my way through the color spectrum!

Sweet William is male, and presents as such, but is able to have children. Mercury is genetically male, nonbinary, and prefers they/them pronouns.

In order for their child to be eligible to be the Heir for Generation 1 (Red) they MUST have Mercury’s red skin and hair, but are allowed to have red, white or pink eyes, and if no eligible child is of Young Adult age by the time Will and Mercury have reached their Elder years, any child with pink skin or hair AND either red skin OR hair AND red, pink or white eyes may be deemed eligible. If more than one child fits this description, a vote will be announced!
