either the person who plays madison is a very bad actress or madison literally shows no emotion aside from anger and displeasure. like when she had to let her son go in the fucking zombiepocalypse, she’s just sort of ‘☹️😐😕’ and it’s like dude wtf?! ugh i honestly really dislike her.
ive been away from fear long enough to forget the plot somewhat which means I can rewatch it and feel *in* the story again: I've been re-working chapters 3-10 on Lilies. The entire concept of the fic has changed; but I think that's a separate post. I like to make sure that my chapters feel consistent with suspense I feel when viewing my favorite seasons of both shows.
(for twd earlier doesn't always mean good to me. I think a lot of the seasons I liked later in the series's only crime is that they don't have certain characters that could've been much better utilized later, again, separate post.)
Also, it is so important for dealing with walkers. I love FTWD walkers, give me more survivors of the week. Give me more force of nature obstacles and philosophy...
like okay I've always had this love for the idea of 'remnants of old society' themes survivors in the apocalypse; let's be ironic and put Troy, Nick and Alicia in a group that has their base at a university. It would have a reinforced cafeteria run by people around their age. Maybe they use the on-campus daycare as a makeshift daycare. It would have a nurses office and some decent tools. Maybe even leftovers of safe-zones made in the early outbreak. Did they fight to take that safe-zone back? I think Troy'd be interested in that. Alicia would befriend the leader, who would probably parallel one of our main adults for s1-3 I'm thinking Travis and Chris (if chris wasnt like legit there...off screen deaths can be toyed with). Maybe it would end well, maybe it would not. I could also see a world where we parallel Madison to give Nick and Alicia that kickstart to 'Maybe we need to fight our mom' thing...but it feels soon.
Maybe this arc is about what is 'too far'- is it cannibals, do we do cannibals? What's icky about cannibalism? It's a line crossed... and it's a betrayal to 'team human'. Maybe, we do bring back chris and his jocks...thematically. OMG! could he haunt the narrative?
Maybe the leader is Alicia's age or a lil older... but without parents to guide them. The leader just had a bad hand and it'll kill em eventually.
Maybe Nick is the one who suggests they leave. Idk, Nick's usually on some lil sidequest; what would Nick be doing. Would he be sober? Maybe his problem is that he's everywhere on this campus, and he hates it and wants to leave. (Also Luciana exists. I also would kill off Ofelia here instead of when they did.....but thats a maybe.)
also he and troy kiss a little i think shrug.
I HATE MADISON SO MUCH. SHE’S SUCH A FUCKING SHIT MOTHER. TO NICK AND TO ALICIA. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WOMAN. PLS KILL HER OFF.
travis deserves better than his sociopathic son and emotionless void girlfriend.
I don't understand this fascination that you have with them.
the cute mexican girl showed up and I’m interested again
I want to see something other than drug addict Nick, Nick eating dead dogs, drinking urine and being a walker
