Aria blushed as she reached forward, placing her hand in his, her other hand tucking her hair behind her ear. She looked down a little shyly before she looked up at Gabriel and smiled softly. “Yeah...I guess we should get going before Dad manages to get away from Mom,” she said, feeling herself smile softly at him. She hoped he had fun tonight and that, maybe, they could repeat this again.

     “Hey, you must be Fuboo! Name’s Mike Schmidt, and I’m here to get you adjusted to the night shift on your first night.” The tall man introduced himself with a smile, pale-blue eyes glinting in the low light of the pizzeria at nightfall. “Welcome to Freddy’s Family Pizzeria.”

     Mike gestured for Fuboo to follow him down a hallway as he continued his introduction. The entry room was kept in fantastic condition, obviously cared for a lot more than other similar places seemed to be. The three animatronics in this room were completely still. “I’m sure you’ve seen places like this before, maybe for a niece’s or nephew’s party or something. Pizza, arcade games, singing animal robots. The whole nine yards. Your job at night is simply to watch ‘em. To that end, you get a camera tablet which’ll let you view the various security camera feeds all over the place.”

     The hallways leading towards the security office were lined with rooms on both sides, doors closed for the moment. Straight ahead now lay the Office itself, kept lighter than the rest of the building. Mike approached the desk and picked up the camera tablet, showing Fuboo how to use it. 

     “There are a small number of ways to change camera view. First off you might have noticed that you see one big main feed, with three smaller camera feeds on top of it. Those are the three nearest rooms to the one you’ve selected. It helps with visibility! To change to a different area of cameras quicker, there’s a small map of the place on the bottom-right of the screen. Just tap the area you want to look at.” The man demonstrated the functions as he explained them. “You probably won’t need this last function, but in the case of an emergency, if you’re compromised and can’t reach the phone, this little red switch on the side of the tablet radios the local police station when flipped. They get an automated call form this location asking for help.”

     The entire restaurant, aside from Schmidt, was still and quiet.

     After realizing how much he just rambled, Mike took a moment before continuing. “Any questions ya got for me?”
