AND THEN THEY BECAME AN INCREDIBLE POWERCOUPLE IN THE THEATER WORLD!
What’s with people in media harshly dissing the looks of people who are actually really attractive? Bullying anyone for their appearance is bad of course, and I get that it’s often to dramatize a real problem because that stuff happens in real life, but like, for example: I was watching Abyss and all throughout people are giving Go Seyeon a hard time about her ugly new face/body and I’m like, are you blind? She’s super pretty, what the hell? And I just watched Kasane, and the whole plot is centered around what a hideous wretch she is and how no one can bear to look at her horrible face, but seriously, she’s extremely hot. So she’s really badly scarred, get over it. Even if you’re not like me and don’t find scars attractive, she’s still hot. I do not understand what folks find so unattractive about these gorgeous people. I don’t care if they’re just not your type, they’re at least not ugly. Non-pro tip: if you want a character’s ugliness to be that prominent, maybe don’t have them played by dreamboats? Obviously, actual lack of beauty wouldn’t excuse rude people’s toxic behavior, I’m just confused. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The page where I read Kasane updated like 50 chapters some days ago and that’s all I’ve been thinking about lately. I was immediately greeted back with an ocean of tension and it was fantastic. Can’t wait for the upcoming movie, comes out this year, I believe?
Kasane has been dropped.
Hello dear readers!
It has been brought to my attention that Kasane has been picked up by Kodansha Comics for publication in English. As such, Whatever Project and I have decided to drop the series. If you like Kasane and have enjoyed our releases up until now, please consider supporting the author through the purchase of licensed volumes through Kodansha.
We have all really enjoyed working on the series and would like to thank the fans for their patience and support over the years!
Thank you!!
