as someone who has not seen Kingsman but is kind of interested in eventually watching it, um, what?
Basically, near the end of the movie, the main character, Eggsy, encounters a princess who had been kept as hostage because she wouldn’t go along with the bad guy’s plans. Through her literal prison door, she’s like “if you save the world, we can do it in the arsehole” and hes like OK SOUNDS GOOD, so he saves the day and then comes back and they have, eh, not graphic but pretty blatant anal sex.
It’s very much consensual (as much as a fictional scene written to objectify a woman can be consensual), but it just feels really out of place in a movie that’s basically 95% awesome and really respectful of women.
It’s absolutely one of my all time favorite movies, but this scene is just plan Bad
