I made excuses for Cas' until S12. When he switched allegiance from Dean (and Sam but we know it was always Dean) to Jack....that was a bitter pill to swallow. I get that Dabb wanted Cas to play Dad, but we never saw that organically develop. Overnight, Cas went from Team Dean to being All About Jack and "Dean who?" Jack dying from Chuck's magic gun - the horror! Dean also dying - eh, whatever. Dean saying soulless Jack should die - the horror! Jack saying Michael!Dean should die- eh, whatever.

I don't know why some fans think Dabb was a Destieler when he fractured that relationship almost beyond repair. 15x18 did help bring things back on track but still, it's hard to forget four years of Cas stealing from, lying to, and throwing Dean under the bus for Dabb's Creator's Pet.

Agreed 100%! Honestly, that whole gross plot with Kelly-the-incubator (who had no personality or backstory or loved ones and only existed to die birthing the actual important character 🤮) and fetus Jack brainwashing Cas into caring about him is why season 12 is one of my least favorites.

Cas and Jack's "father-son" bond was founded on nothing! Cas went from not giving a shit to suddenly devoting his entire existence to this creature he didn't know! With the way it was presented it couldn't have been read as anything other than brainwashing, yet we were just supposed to run with it and squee accordingly over Dad Cas and Special Snowflake Jack. Bleh.

If Dean and Cas' bond had been established the same way--two seconds of ominous glowing followed by insta-love and devotion--Destiel would have never, ever been a thing. If a brand-new character were introduced and Dean instantly fell in love with them without even an introductory conversation, fans would've been (rightfully) up in arms. In terms of substance, complexity, and thematic richness, it was frankly insulting that Cas and Jack's bond was implied to be remotely in the same league as Cas and Dean's.

Turns out that building a compelling, worthwhile dynamic between characters actually takes time and dialogue and even conflict! Radical notion, I know.

0. I don't know why But the whole young Kate scene was hilarious to me. Like its not funny like at all. But I cracked at least one joke. Also I don't know why......but Young Kate's instant want to get into archery felt weird to me? Like how the actress sends the lines and how they were written. Kate is like....10? She just lost his dad and her home. She's hella traumatized. So her being this direct with her Mom about an interest which I can assume she did not have before just.....feels unnatural? Idk. That's just me probably.

1. Rogers: The Musical. Omg No. Who made the the costumes? Who wrote this song? Omg someone needs to sue cause they did Steve, Tony and Bruce dirty. I don't even like Steve that much! But I wanna sue for him! Cause like no. No! Who asked for the rights? Who allowed this?

2. Clint has earned my respect cause if I could turn my hearing off while watching that......Yeah bro I would too.
