OH MY GODDDDD! THE MANAGERS ARE IN THE SAME ROOM AND YUKARI IS NAKED!!!!1!!
*runs in circles holding my head and screaming*
(honestly it's much more fun that they've been dropping these progressively more definitive breadcrumbs. revealing their relationship from the beginning wouldn't have had the same impact)
⚠️Language warning!!!!!!⚠️
I'm so sick and tired of managers who don't stand up for their staff.
I should not be told "Go die in hell, you fucking cunt" after being polite and calm to someone and then have my manager tell me I "simply shouldn't have let it get to that point, you should have transferred them to the correct manager. That's kinda on you."
Let me be clear: I was trying to do so, professionally and quickly, and was literally about to do so when that individual hung up on me. I told this person something they didn't want to hear ONCE before letting them know I couldn't help them because I didn't make those decisions, but I could connect them to the manager who did, and they were available to take their call right away. But nooooo, instead, I was cursed out profusely before going to my manager to warn them we'd have someone coming in who will likely cause a scene, only to have them tell me it's my fault someone fucking harassed and verbally assaulted me, and then the lady still got her way even when it was against regulation because they didn't want to deal with her.... I'm so fucking done.
So my favorite manager came back and I thought things would start to chill out and become more sensible and straightforward. But APPARENTLY the other managers who DO NOT INTERACT WITH ME OR MY COWORKERS OR ANYONE AT THE HOUSE I WORK AT (Other than the nepo baby who's a manager's son) are not happy with me for some unstated reason.
Apparently I'm not doing good at the duties they never fucking gave me training for and I'm not communicating things they never told me they needed to be looped into. And they've just been staring in this for the past two months my favorite manager was gone for, WITHOUT SAYING A DAMN WORD. And now it sounds like they're seriously pissed.
And I don't know what the fuck to do with that. Like how am I supposed to do things no one explains or even articulates as my responsibility? Why are most of these things even my responsibility to begin with?!? WHY IS IT THAT MY COWORKERS HAVE BEEN HAVING A STICKY NOTE WAR ON A BLENDER AND IM THE ONE THEYRE PISSED OFF AT?
I'm just so sick of having so many things suddenly get dropped on my lap, and being micromanaged by the nepo baby at work, and being silently judged for how I do fucking everything. I would love this job if not for who I have to work with and the hours I have to work and I have no control over either of those. And I fucking want to stab.
CSR For Life…
I have no college degree. Just a high school diploma. I feel like if I want to keep working at home (which I do), I’ll be stuck in a shitty call center being a CSR.
So since I have accepted that fact, I’ve decided what I want with the next job.
A wage of $16-$20 per hour
A PT (part time) schedule of 9am-1pm Monday to Friday. No weekends.
If I can get the wage & schedule I want, I can deal with working in another shitty call center. If my wage is not dependent on how “well” I do on recorded calls, then fuck it right?
As long as I do well enough to not get fired, make $16-$20 per hour and have the PT schedule I want, then I can deal with asshole customers and asshole management.
At the end of the day, it’s just about money for me. At least for now. We just need my income to help get us out of some debt our house put us in. Then hopefully once we get that taken care of, I can stop working or figure out what career I actually want & would enjoy doing.
Pro tip: don’t buy a 140 year old farm house, despite how cheap your mortgage will be.
I think at some point, I’d like to go to cosmetology school and learn to do makeup as a profession. That would be something I’d enjoy I think.
"I hope she burns in the hell of her own making"
- I surprised myself saying this to a friend at work about a coworker we were both mad at
