The media is salivating over Milo Yiannopoulis like ‘’Oh, a gay Nazi! How shocking and exotic!’’ But you know what? He is nothing new or unusual at all. Guys like him are a dime-a-fucking-dozen in the gay community. They are an absolute plague. 

They are your bog standard rich white male sociopath abuser, except they’ve learned how to bend sexual minority status and queer culture aesthetic around themselves as justification for their abusive behaviour. They weaponize it as a tool of abuse and a shield, while accusing everyone else of being over-sensitive babies about genuine systematic injustices against queer people.

The media loves assholes like this and is always willing to give them a platform because they generate a never ending carnival of outrage that they can extract headlines from. Michael Alig was pulling the same shtick 20 years ago and they loved it then too.
