So I have *ahem* acquired a non-Origin Sims 3...
...because I’m not buying the damn game again. It “only” took 5 days (and no, that isn’t hyperbole) to download because my internet speed here in bumfuck rural America is that awesome. It just finished.
And now, after all that...I’m kind of afraid to install it. LOL But I’m also afraid of this new EA app thing or whatever the hell it is that’s replacing Origin. Like, Origin wasn’t bad enough? They had to go and make something that’s probably worse, knowing them? So yeah, kinda want EA outta my computer. But also I’m not sure I want to mess with it right now. So I think I’ll procrastinate some more.
On the plus side: I’ll now have all the stuff pack stuff, which I didn’t have before because I only had one stuff pack, which I only had because my base game came with it. Then again, I’m not sure if that’s a plus at all. I mean, my catalogs in some of my games are already overstuffed as it is. *sigh*
