This might be a hot take but I currently see Isidor as the lesser evil here. Pathologic 2 shows that his idea was to break the town on order to fix it. The town had serious problems that couldn't be fixed as it was, so he took it apart and left it to Artemy (and eventually the kids) to put it back together in a more functional whole. It was fucked up, dangerous, and unfair to Artemy, but I get it.

SIMON on the other hand (as far as I can tell, I only just finished day 9) was a cult leader. Had some cool ideas, did some cool stuff, but all of thats overshadowed when his magnum opus was to TRY HIS BEST TO KILL EVERYONE. "Huh wonder why this town is so dysfunctional." Oh I dont know, maybe its because YOU KEEP BUILDING THINGS THAT MAKE PEOPLE CRAZY INSTEAD OF EDUCATION OR HEALTHCARE?? "No, the people are just weak! I'm sure a plague will help!"

Simon was right about one thing, the plague did help because it FUCKING KILLED HIM.

daisie, hi. sorry just for confirmation as to your last rb, why did simon take it on louis of all member tho? did he feel threatened by him or it was because louis is the one who acted "bravely" among others?

I don’t know for sure why, but Simon always had something against Louis. From the beginning. Perhaps he saw him as a threat to his money making machine (1D) early on because he appeared too gay. Then it likely switched slightly, when Louis was the more vocal one who fought for what the boys wanted as a band, as opposed to just doing what they were told. 

Once the band went on hiatus, Simon got his claws on Louis, and Louis signed with Syco. I don’t know exactly why he did, but I think it could have something to do with Syco having first right of refusal and not letting Louis go. Other things could also have been at play at the same time, and I’m sure Simon made it so Louis had no other option but to sign with him again for his solo career. As in, if Louis didn’t sign with Syco and stayed with Simon, he wouldn’t have a career at all.

The industry is ruthless, and Simon has always played dirty. For whatever reason, he acted on this vendetta against Louis, and “punished” him for whatever distorted thing he deemed Louis had to be punished for. He locked Louis in shitty contracts with Syco and Xfactor, he stilted his career for years, he changed Louis’ image, put him in several stunts, gave him beards, a long term beard, and made him pretend to have a child. Simon is truly evil. Why Louis, I don’t know. But let’s just say it’s not a coincidence he named his label psycho syco.

Why is it embarrassing to take a closer look at the whole environment and realize how much zayn and liam are suffering for this shitty industry? Every day I see people saying "you're embarrassing" just for not believing in the narrative they're selling. Those people think they can't force anyone to have fake relationships, get engaged, married or even pregnant, because, why would they hide a gay relationship if there's nothing wrong abt that? Because the industry is fucking homophobic, and they'll do whatever they want just for money. They don't care if they hurt someone for their own benefit, they don't imagine themselves in the same situation, or any of their family members in the same situation. Money is all that's right for them at the cost of the happiness of others. THAT is actually embarrassing.

SO I HAVE A THEORY AND I'M ALMOST SURE I GOT IT RIGHT.

Like most people, I think Hazel is a null, since she transformed in this turtle creature. But the thing is, she is surely traumatized by a father figure that she said she had and I'm pretty sure that's Amelia because of the deep mecanical voice she had and everyone else seems to mistake her as a man too.

Amelia probably tried making a version of her dead husband and failed, creating Hazel in the process(maybe sh e wasn't the only one?). *Insert Amelia abusing Hazel for being "a failure" here*, and eventually Hazel ran away and met Tuba. That's why she her number isn't glowing, she's a null created by Amelia. And she probably turned into a turtle because of being unfinished or something like that, idk there's a lot of turtles in this series.

So, that's what I think it's going on with Hazel, and i'm pretty damn sure I'm not the only one to make this conclusion. Anyway brb gonna cry now.

Also Amelia probably had something to do with The Cat leaving Simon, or maybe not idk. And fuck Simon. (great character, but fuck him)
