I hate my body
Your best self is not your thinnest self.
Why are we so obsessed with being thin? Will being thin make people like you? Will being thin change who you are? Will being thin ultimately make you a better person? A smaller waist and slimmer thighs will not make you a more likable or decent human being, but consideration, honesty, and patience are qualities that will. Caring for others and making peace with yourself and the world around you means so much more than being thin. Center your focus on forgiveness and love. Forgive yourself for the mistakes you've made and love yourself for the person you are. Forgive others by having compassion, not seeking revenge, and love the people who support and care for you. Nourish your body by not only feeding it nutrients it so badly needs, but befriending it by speaking kind words it wants to hear. Don't waste your precious time and energy trying to change your imperfections. Accept, embrace, and LOVE them. Use your time and energy to become a better person- not a thinner one.
