On Dylan Rieder

The one year anniversary of Dylan’s death is coming up and I’m still as confounded by his passing as I was almost a year ago.

How can someone THAT young, beautiful, talented, vivacious and an all-around good person die because of such a soul crushing disease? It just doesn’t seem fair to me at all.

The only reason I can think of is that he must have been to good for this world. Yup, that’s just it - he was otherworldly - and he ultimately didn’t belong here, but I’m glad that we got to experience his magic for a little while anyway.
