It's absolutely bonkers when people choose to pretend volume 6 never happened and then expect the rest of us to do the same with regard to how we view Blake and Yang's relationship.
Like, bitch, "I know you won't" wasn't just fanservice and Miles and Kerry giving the Bee shippers everything we wanted and waited years for. It's literally Yang telling Blake, AND THE AUDIENCE, that she's not afraid Blake's just going to disappear on her again. Because now she knows how much Blake loves her and the one reason she left in the first place is dead and can never hurt either of them again.
You can't just "forget" such a pivotal moment and what it means for their relationship and also act like you're viewing their relationship objectively.
