Keeping this chaos garden feels like a small act of rebellion.

My backyard is like 12 x 8 feet and fully concrete. But with creative containers and tetrising, it's gonna yield so much produce. Last summer I hardly had to buy any vegetables. We didn't pay for a single thing back there other than seeds and netting to keep the birds and squirrels out.

It looks like a junkyard out there with all the scavenged containers and random shit cobbled together for trellises. But when it's grown in, it's so pretty and smells so good. AND we're coordinating with some neighbors who also have gardens so we can share.

So yeah. Little rebellions. Fuck. Just having a community feels rebellious at the moment.

You had always known that your gēge was attentive and knew you like the back of your hand. He's your doting older brother, of course, there was nothing that he didn't know about you. All of your likes and dislikes he's noted down until it's pretty much engraved in his brain every single detail about his meimei.

There's nothing weird about it, right? Nothing to be concerned about. The two of you grew up together and there's no one in the world who knew you or him except for the two of you.

However, you both have a secret.

Caleb doesn't know that you knew about him watching you. Your every move, every item, every clothing, and even down to missing pen from your bedroom he knows.

It had started when you were around fifteen. Caleb thought he was slick, perfected his art of being unnoticeable. What he didn't think to consider was that you're his meimei.

Whatever Caleb knew or did, you in turn would know as well.

It didn't ever occur to him that the reason your bedroom door was slightly ajar, your panties suspiciously thrown onto your bed that you had "forgotten", or how you would fall asleep on the couch with your skirt riding up high that if he peeked right he would see underneath.

Was your gēge really that clueless or like you, was he feigning ignorance?

Either way, this is something that gets you both hot and bothered.

Gēge is at home, the home that the both of you built. He had let you shower first as he as he finished cleaning up the table and dishes. You took your sweet time at the bathtub, knowing fully well how long it would take for Caleb to finish up.

As you were at your shared bedroom, you left the door ajar as usual. The bathrobe you were is on the bed. You have a habit of patting your body dry before disrobing completely as you decide what to wear for the night.

You can tell that Caleb is just outside, his peering eyes staring straight into you, almost as if he were staring straight into your soul.

You try to hide your smirk.

You decided on which panties to wear and which night gown. The moment you were fully clothed did you hear a knock from the door.

"How many times do I have to tell you to close the door?" Caleb reminds you with an arch of his brow. He has his arms folded against his chest as he lightly leans on the door.

"I just keep forgetting," you shrug with a roll of your eyes, "Besides, we're the only ones in the house. It's not like anyone will watch me." you've said this a couple of times, a little hint that you know what happens.

Caleb smirks and this really just feels like a game at this point.

You know he knows.

You both know but play ignorant.

"Don't worry meimei, if anyone tries to do that they won't have eyes to look at you for long. I wouldn't let anyone do that to you."

'Because you're the only one allowed to do that.' you muse internally, but don't voice it out.

"I know I can count on you gēge," you say with a wink, "now go shower, I want you in bed."
