while I don't believe the SAT is a measure of anything important, I admit to sometimes looking at my scores fondly and deriving a silly self-esteem boost from them
those were the glory days
#800 reading 670 math 780 writing#2250 total#790 each on the Latin and Literature SAT IIs#and this was without studying or any of the fancy tutoring the rich kids got#fucking effortless#and you know#my high school did the 'your SAT score determines your worth' thing and I thought it horrible at the time#but now I'll kind of latch onto anything that makes me feel like a person#and in retrospect I probably needed that back in 11th grade too#I know it doesn't make me smart#but it does make me Smart and I'll take that benediction of faux intelligence#I can't drive or read a map or hold a conversation but I can fucking rock a standardized test#SUCK ON THAT
