Keith had become increasingly attached to his lover, Lea, so much so that, wile the man was at home, he was either in his lap, or curled up next to him. He had little clue as to why that was until, while watching tv one day, he came across some movie or something about a pregnant person. (He couldn’t say if it was a man or woman, really. He just briefly glanced at it as he was scrolling through the channels.)

It occurred to him several channels later that he was showing signs of being pregnant himself. He couldn’t be sure without a test, but it fit. Which made him nervous. He and Lea had never talked about having kids, never really talked about being long term. So what would he think? Would he kick Keith out? Demand he abort the child(ren)? The thoughts scared him. but he had to know, so when Lea was about to leave, to head for the store, Keith stopped him. “Can you....I know this is weird and out of the blue but....Can you buy a pregnancy test for me?” He asked meekly.
