Oh look, it's Ohio
I saw this on my local news and wasn't even surprised.
Cool cool cool. Super normal. Nothing to see here. Just an entire page of ballot language actively implying that voting FOR the issue to reduce gerrymandering will CAUSE gerrymandering.
It's gonna be 9 degrees tomorrow and we STILL WONT GET SNOW
Wtf man. If it's gonna be that cold at least gimme something pretty to look out of my window at damn.
Im watching "Game Changer" On Dropout TV and I completely forgot that Grant is also from Ohio until he just started talking about the unicycle wire at goddamned Cosi. Ive done that shit so many times.
so there was this one year where I was obsessed w/ a DnD rp server- And this is my dumbass Brody or Mitch as she’s preferred to be called. Lets just say High School was fucked up- did you high school have a labyrinth underneath, multiple cult dealings and murderous teachers? Let alone the trauma every player gave these kids before year one even began.
I just...
There's a story on my local news of a man who needs a life-saving kidney transplant. They finally found a donor but the hospital has a policy that both donor and recipient be fully vaccinated.
The recipient is vaccinated. The donor is not.
The wife of the recipient is crying on the news. The donor is upset.
Both are distraught because now they're back to square one because of this policy that was only recently put into place.
The reporter asks the donor very hesitantly "sooooo...is getting the vaccine an option...?"
The donor says after a pause "I have my reasons. Medical. Religious. And, y'know, freedom."
And we cut back to the recipient's wife, crying and complaining that the hospital is upholding this new policy.
She says they don't have time. That it's a matter of life or death.
And NO ONE is upset with the donor for not simply GETTING THE VACCINE.
She's going to let this man die rather than get the vaccine because "you can't tell me what to do" - and everyone's mad at the hospital?!
EVERY TIME I THINK I CAN'T HATE IT HERE ANY MORE, I SOMEHOW HATE IT HERE EVEN MORE.
