That's what could happen. As long as they keep pushing a fandom that won't be canon, but they're marketing it as such, the hype could go to hell. The worst part is that they're going against the wishes of an actress who's making the company a lot of money, and we know the best way to screw a company like that is through money. If what we're going to see is another toxic heterosexual shit, then the fucking writers still don't know who the Adamses are. They never did; they never will.

Queerbaiting is truly the most deviant thing companies do to promote their show/movie/artist, whether it’s true or not. But because there are no consequences for when it turns out to be fake and lgbtq people are starved for content anyway, it will ALWAYS be the way!!!

That's one of the biggest problems with these types of characters. When the industry pushes them to get support from the community, and then it turns out they're not gay. That's why I also don't like straight actors and actresses playing gay roles. The community needs good representation beyond what's available in other countries. It's disastrous that they use and abuse the community, knowing we need good content. And Netflix, we know it's the worst of all, just like Disney.
