Art side of Tumblr please explain why Picasso's art makes me want to slap Picasso with a dead fish but Jean Michel Basquiat's art makes me want to take Basquiat out for brunch and listen to literally anything he deigns me worthy to hear
Like ... JMB's art is a physical punch of "this man has things to say about justice and we'd all be fools to not shut up and pay attention immediately" and Picasso (especially in later works) is like "lolololo I'm Picasso here's a crunpled tissue it is Ort lolololo that will be 7 mlion dolarst"
