Prom '09: I went with an abusive bastard and TWO girls he cheated on me with/couldnt sit with my best friend cause one of the girls was mad at her for. Prom '17: Didnt go. It was hosted in my classroom and my belongings were disrespected. Prom '18: Chaperoned a prom while going through a semi-traumatic break up/had to deal with shitty traffic cops at the Alamodome. Prom '19: Stressful as fuck! Overwhelming and emotionally draining. But this little gem reminds me that I am surrounded by supportive people who get me.
