Today someone told me that my nails were too much. That they were over the top and a pitiful way to cry for attention. I didn’t say anything because I rarely ever do, but be assured I was not bothered. I’ve been trying to grow out my nails for years. I became a nail biter due to my gad and it became a habit like sucking ones thumb. I have bitten my nails to the quick for 10 years, I never learned how to paint my own nails because I was ashamed of them and thought they weren’t worth the effort, but guess what? I have fought to have these nails, I have battled myself and won. So I will paint them as fucking glittery and over the top as I please. So to Susan at the local target...fight me. I will scratch the shit out of you with my gold almond shaped nails in the parking lot next time you try it.
