Greetings! So here are some facts about me!

My name is Robin

My birthday is on July 4th

I am in a long distance relationship.

My favourite TV shows are Doctor Who, Sherlock, and The Umbrella Academy

My favourite movie is Maurice (1987)

I have read Maurice A LOT of times!

I got into the Maurice Fandom when I was looking at what other things Rupert Graves was in apart from Sherlock. I saw that he was in Maurice so I watched it and fell in love with the film's beauty so I bought the book too.

I love learning but school seems to pick rather dull subjects. (In history we're learning about diseases and I don't find it that interesting.)

I am Bisexual with no preference.

My partner is bigender so win win :)

My favourite school subjects are art, English/ English Literature and anything that isn't maths.

I joined Tumblr because none of my friends have watched Maurice and I found out that lots of people on here love it so hello :)

I aspire to get into Oxford University to study something I am interesting (I'm not 100% sure yet. I'm not even sure if I'll get in, I mean I have plenty of time until then though.)

Speaking of universities, I was selected to be taught by a PhD tutor for a week and it was brilliant. I wrote an essay based on the work of Aristotle, Shakespeare and Pico.

My family wants me to go into a career in art but I want to be an English teacher. I feel if I do art as a job, I'll lose interest in it because it will feel like a requirement rather than a fun hobby.

I discovered one thing when drawing these, actually two things.

1. I CANNOT draw Clive FUCKING Durham.

2. I am actually quite good at drawing with coloured pencils despite never using them before

10 Random Questions, Tag 10 Random Simmers!

To Thank you all for 3000 Followers!!! I am going to be answering 10 Random Questions about me!

1. If you could travel one place in the world where would you travel?

If I could travel one place in the world it would probably have to be France. Mainly because the history and architecture! I find the people and the setting to be so interesting. To be more specific, I would definitely have to visit the Palace of Versailles! 

2. What do you do in your free time away from Sims?

So surprisingly I really enjoy sports.For a while I ran track, however, I’ve really enjoyed playing lacrosse for the last three years. I love to hang out with my friends and lately I’ve been practicing more lacrosse during Quarantine, since our season was cut short this year :(

3. What other games do you play besides The Sims?

I play a lot on Ps4... specifically a lot of Red Dead Redemption, Dead by Daylight, Star-dew Valley, and COD.

4. How tall are you?

I am one of the taller people in my family, last time I checked I was 5′11 but that was a few months ago, so either I’ve grown or I’ve shrank!

5. One random interest of yours?

As you can probably tell, I weirdly enough have a huge interest in historical fashion. I truly believe clothing and how people used to dress tells a variety of different stories. There’s so much history behind it and a lot to get into, but it really does intrigue me!

6. Current Favorite Bands or Artists?

Sooooo, I have really been listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac lately, I love the smooth rock and roll, and messages in their music. However, for a while I’ve been listening to Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, and The Rolling Stones. 

7. Something your looking forward to.

Besides going back to school and getting out of the house. I am super excited to start my senior year in the fall, and finish up high school. I’ve been looking into colleges and hopefully will be able to attend some college tours in July!

8.Current Favorite Films.

I am a movie fanatic! The films that I have watched a few times over again lately have been The Wolf of Wall street, Lady Bird, The Witch, and White Bird in a Blizzard. If you can’t tell I love a variety of different genres.

9. Who is a Historical Icon who has left a impact on your life?

I’m not sure if Emma Watson counts, however, I love what she has done for the feminist movement and I believe her approach has started to bring awareness and change. And her attitude towards feminism is ideal and allows others to take part in the movement. Oh and out of pure enjoyment, Marie Antoinette. :p

10. Favorite Series (Book or Movie series) :)

Okay, listen I’m a extreme Potter head. The series has made me the person I am today. Not to exaggerate either but that book series really helped raise me and taught me so much, and helped me through so much as a child. I still watch the movies to this day, and may or may not be re-reading the series for the fourth time!

“Nunca fui especialista no amor, sempre foi difícil para mim entender como e porque ele acontecia...”  

Em algum momento da sua vida você já parou para pensar nisso? Existem relatos de pessoas que levaram ANOS para encontrar e entender o amor, já em outros casos, a pessoa levou apenas uma fração de segundos para se apaixonar perdidamente por alguém. Talvez o “entender” seja relativo, afinal, como pudera eu entender, uma vez que, nunca vivi algo parecido... ou não tinha vivido até agora.

Você não sabe disso (e parte de mim deseja que você nunca saiba) mas quando eu ouvi sou voz algo dentro de mim despertou, como diz o nome da genial musica do Daft Punk, foi instant crush. Eu nunca fui de me apaixonar facilmente, aparência, status, fama, dinheiro, sempre foram insignificantes perto do que eu buscava em alguém: Intelecto.

Meu amigo sempre me importunou com o papo de eu ser pseudo Demisexual, mas como eu poderia? acho que nunca verdadeiramente me encaixei nesse grupo (apesar de achar que tenho um pé lá). Tudo foi bizarramente incrível, sua voz mexeu comigo, até ai tudo bem, respirei fundo e continuei normalmente o que fazia, porem o conjunto de coisas que compunha o ser humano até o momento conhecido como “Blue” me tirou do chão, você era inteligente (Nota-se que percebi isso sem mesmo ter sabido qualquer coisa sobre você) era extremamente engraçada e tinha um senso de humor de dar inveja, eu não conseguia falar e quando falava dizia qualquer coisa que surgia na minha cabeça apenas para disfarçar o que estava acontecendo. Meu coração deu uma leve acelerada e por um pequeno momento (insert your referencia Sertaneja here) desejei que fosse enfarto, por um momento senti a terra girar depressa e meu corpo sair do chão, qual a chance de existir um ser humano assim?

E sabe o que eu achei mais engraçado?

Eu não precisei em momento ALGUM sequer pensar na sua aparência física, de onde você era, como você se portava, qual seu viés politico (Mega importante diga-se de passagem) ou QUALQUER outra coisa, eu só conseguia sentir algo que não conseguia definir, e de certa maneira, me senti com 15 anos novamente. 15 anos, idade das paixões intensas, onde você esta sedento para encontrar alguém e viver um romance daqueles que você costuma ver em filmes de drama adolescente, aqueles filmes onde você quer viajar o pais atrás de alguém que esta em uma cidade de papel, ou enviar as cartas que escreveu a muito tempo atrás e por ai vai. eu me senti ASSIM... se deu para definir de maneira lógica.

Encontro dificuldade inclusive em escrever esta noite, sempre quis ser um bom escritor, uma vez que, sou um péssimo aspirante a Daniel Handler (me desculpe por escrever no nível de uma ameba) mas sempre que acontece algo eu me sento aqui e escrevo (ou tento).

“That’s What you Get”era a musica que tocava quando aconteceu, essa musica tem um puta significado para mim, não só por ser cantada pela perfeita da Hayley, mas por ter uma letra extremamente minha vida.

Enfim, enrolei demais para dizer que: Acho que me apaixonei por você, da maneira mais estranha possível, ou será que todos os amores deveriam começar assim? Agora tudo o que eu queria saber era: eu e você pode acontecer? ou vai ser só mais um texto de lamurias de alguém covarde demais para SE ARRISCAR!

something about yourself! take four objects that describe you and draw them!

Book: The book represents my love for reading. I am obsessed with dystopian and dramas and anything YA. I drew the mockingjay in there because that is the first book I can remember reading that I loved and obviously I still do today.

Airplane: Some of my favorite memories include touring the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with my mom or eating crepes at a Parisian Cafe in Paris. I love traveling especially with my mom.

Music Note: I have such a great love for theatre, seeing as I’ve been in 8 musicals, and enjoy learning the music that goes along with them. I’ve memorized just about every word to Mean Girls the Musical and Hamilton. Other than theatre, I find peace and balance when turning on a playlist and jamming out to whatever song is playing.

Tutu/Leotard: Dance makes me whole. It keeps me grounded I danced from 3 years old till I was about 10 and fell in love. I still dance when in theatre and am going to try out for the dance team at my school.
