Fudu, the Leopard Tortoise. Fudu is the ndebele word for a tortoise, and this little guy is quite tame. He responds to foot stamping which he's come to learn usually means he's about to get a banana. #zimbabwe #tortoise #Bulawayo #fudu #banana #Africa #reptile (at Bulawayo Hillside)

My little niece came over the other day and saw I had a fish, Niece - phua , what did you name the fish? My mom - uh why don’t you go play downstairs.. Niece - but what’s the name of the fishy? Me - ….. Mom - well we can’t say the name out loud Cousin -… Why not? Mom - cause the kids named it fudu…
