ugh i'm such a sucker for found family that even though nicolai brahe and fugan & mugan has a fucked up family life (because of the ouroboros) i'm really sad that they all had to go that way, especially after the revelation that nicolai didn't even want to make fugan & mugan ouroboros pawns in the first place and do their dirty deeds, but the kids knew that disobeying the organization meant there were gonna be consequences for insubordination.

honestly wish things were different for all of them. the last bit with fugan & mugan thanking him for everything and nicolai petting their heads as he was dying really made me tear up.

i already watched the series a few times before and i know it won't end well for all of them but i kinda forgot their backstory and i'm just a puddle of tears rn.
